Like your life - but more textual

You're in control!
Release a platinum album at the age of 17, or die of old age having gotten a few Cs in school and not much else, the choice is yours.
Pass your driving test and die in a fatal accident a year later or become a famous musician and become restricted in what you can do.

Meet different people each time you play, start a relationship. Will it last?
Jobs are procedurally generated and require different qualifications to get hired.

Each year you live contains new experiences.

Updated regularly with many more features to come!

I don't plan on charging and the game is no where near complete. The Greenlight FAQ states that incomplete games are more than welcome - don't rate it on what it contains at the moment but its potential.

Heavily influenced by Real Lives <- (people don't seem to read this)

@MrProfit Any features you would like to suggest to allow more freedom?

After playing:

Need waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more things to do. The school stuff is kinda cool, but you can't go back into school if your grades fail, and the game doesn't really involve alot of ecnomics. It's just you set up an expense 1000 dollars less than your income per year, and you make 1000 dollars a year. Not to mention you can't do anything with your cash except slowly raise the size of your house and plan vacations.

Game needs more freedom.

Very cool concept, I hope this gets bigger, maybe to set the premise for a larger text-based-game fad.

I enjoy text based games due to the fact that there is no limit to what you could do. There's never moments where a dev can say ''Damn, I can't do this scene because the graphics would take too long to do'' or bla bla bla.

Maybe in the future, there'll be other themed text lives, Sci-fi, Zombies, War, etc.

ALL games are just numbers and text, but with pretty colours over them. :3 I really like it though. I WANTTTTTTT. It reminds me of RealLives? A lot, actually.

The way it distills life down to numbers and text makes it the most depressing game I've ever played, but still, the concept is refreshing.

I would be awesome for me if you realease an editor to make your own text life, or for the community to make "mods" that expands the text-life adventure.

Thanks ^^
