Vehicle Simulator in an excellent non combat aero-nautical simulator, having excellent flight dynamics and marine vehicle dynamics, this simulator allows you to fly and sail where ever you wish, to explore and customize your planes and boats and to train yourself on all forms of flight and sailing.

"A vehicle (from Latin: vehiculum) is a mobile machine that is designed or used to transport passengers or cargo. Most often vehicles are manufactured, such as bicycles, cars, motorcycles, trains, ships, boats and aircraft." - From Wikipedia.

Vehicle Simulator was created by Ilan Papini first version released in October 2008.

Vehicle Simulator is based upon two older programs developed by Ilan - Micro Flight and Virtual Sailor,
the first was a full fledged flight simulator and the second being a full fledged marine simulator.

During the years of their existence the power of the personal computer and 3D graphics increased so much that it became possible to combine the best of both worlds into one program containing :

Excellent first person ground level graphics.
Excellent naval environment both above and below water.
Excellent atmospheric simulation up to space.
Excellent vehicle simulation for land, naval and flying vehicles.
Vehicle Simulator is a complete rewrite and complete conceptual redesign based upon the two programs above, resulting in a much denser scenery than before, excellent physical simulation, and scalable design allowing it to grow and contain more types of vehicles and objects.

The greatest benefit of all is offering a single platform for content development for both types of applications, allowing flight simulation to happen over the same scenery as naval simulations, and for planes to land on vehicles and more.

Vehicle Simulator includes an intuitive and simple scenery design inside the 3D environment, making it much simpler for users to create and share content than before.

The program uses fully documented formats for creating scenery, vehicles and animals, users are encouraged to get a hands on experience designing and making add-ons and to share them with others.

Advanced add-ons can be created using DLLs for instrument panels, animals and scenery objects, source code for such DLLs is given as part of the program to encourage advanced users to develop high quality content for the program.

The program is fully compatible with scenery, boats and planes made for Virtual Sailor or Micro Flight, after installing these add-ons the program imports them automatically and creates the new vehicle paramters needed for them to run.

Vehicles can be edited and created inside the program and accurate physical properties can be set for them and tested in fligth or sail, making the program an excellet tool for learing the phyisical properties of these vehicles and their design.

Documentation and tools for designing scenery, vehicles and animals can be found on the websites of Vehicle Simulator.

tl;dr This is a 3D Vehicle Simulation program, fully working and already available on the links above, where you can fly aircraft, sail on ships, and do just about anything when it comes to vehicles, since Vehicle Simulator is fully moddable.
There is a huge variety of content of all kinds - Scenery, aircraft, ships, cars, tanks, shuttles, and just about anything people have thought of.
This isn't the kind of game where you play it for the scripted missions or complete predefined challenges - it's the kind of game that you play for the fun of flying, sailing, doing silly things and even creating new add-ons yourself.
It already has a fairly active community with loads of extra mods and add-ons already available, and you can try all of that by downloading the demo.
All of this things and more are covered and accessible through these websites:

So before you even form an opinion about this game, try it! It's already out there!

I am going through a list of Greenlight items that I have upvoted based on a decision made by Steam to reject a refund request on a defective purchase. At this point I am removing my upvotes until I get some answers to some questions:
- Will it be available for purchase through other sites?
- Will people purchasing through other sites get a Steam key?

Whether I purchase it at all will be dependent on whether it will be available for purchase through other digital distributors. Whether I will upvote this or not will be dependent on whether purchases from other sites will require Steam activation or if we will be provided with Steam keys from those purchases once it passes Greenlight. I don't have a problem with Steam activation if it's a must, but I won't purchase new games directly from them anymore.

I have had this game for a while. What I did not see them mention was submarines. You can go UNDER the water in this sim. I would say the game is very basic but it has a lot of potential and I found it to be pretty fun. I really REALLY liked the hangglider. You can actually set this game to show thermal currents. Good times.

I dont think its worth paying for honestly....i know its hard to design games but it could be a bit better.
