What is Twitch Game Mode?
We have fully integrated Twitch with Lines to allow streamers to play the game together with their audience. The viewers have direct control over the outcome of the game, for better or for worse!

After setting up and starting Twitch Mode (more on that later) viewers will influence how the streamer plays the game. Every level the viewers vote on what they think is the correct move (or moves) to make. The move(s) that receives the most votes will be the only move possible for the streamer. The streamer still has to determine the exact location of the move and on a tie the streamer gets to decide between multiple possibilities.

If the streamer wins the level, all the viewers that voted for that move will get a point. If the streamer fails, they lose a point. The streamer can set a point limit for viewers to fit their stream and the game will, once reached, proclaim one of them the winner!
A. The Setup
1. Enter the Twitch name of your channel.

2. Create a new bot-account for your Quizmaster.

This will take you to Twitch.

3. Enter your new Bot’s name and get it’s oauth token.

This will also take you to Twitch.

4. Make sure to make this account a Moderator on your own channel!

5. Set Voting Time, Competitive mode On/Off. And if On, set the amount of points the viewers will need to win.

6. Go Live!

In Competitive mode, viewers can earn points by voting for winning moves. If you win the level, viewers who voted will get one point for each of the moves they voted for. Earned points aren't safe yet, however! If you lose a level, people lose a point for each of your moves.

The competition ends (and a new one starts) once someone gets a set amount of points. You can choose this number yourself. Competitive mode is on by default. If you think it's not a good fit for your stream, you can always switch it off.
B. The in-game tools.
During your stream, the streamer has a few tools to dictate the pace of the game and also the difficulty.
1. Before you start a level, choose the best grid size.
Using the arrows ←↑→↓ on your keyboard will add and subtract rows and columns. Example:

Pick a grid that gives enough different options but not too many. If you have a lot of viewers, you can use more cells. Want to view the level without a grid? Press and hold F4.

2. Start the voting process.
F5 will start the voting, with a 5 second delay. This is done to minimize the delay between chat and video. Players will be able to vote for the grid cell they think is a good option. If a certain level requires extra time you could start by pressing Ctrl+F5 to add 15 extra seconds during the voting process. You can also use Ctrl+F5 to add 15 seconds after the voting has started.

3. That’s it!
Your Bot will take care of the rest: keep score and pronounce winners. You do need streaming software of course. But you are probably aware of that. ;)
Good luck and have fun!
