New's Update + New Trailer
April 2nd, 2013 - zedd

Hello everyone, today we present to you a new "Legend" trailer entitled 'Fear'. In this trailer we are showcasing the Ashland woods level and some of our player animations (everything you see is still a work in progress and is in no way representative of the final product).

We have also added some new additions to the team: Dendis, who will be doing the voice acting for our main character Joseph, and Sieabah L. Park who is one of our new level designers. Dendis has access to his own recording studio, which means you can all be expecting high quality 'static-free' character voiceover's, along with various sound effects.

If you would like to become part of "The Legend" team please send an application with examples of previous work/experience to "zedd@thelegendgame.com" and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Story

"The Legend" is here to leave you afraid of the dark for the entirety of your life.
We plan to concept the _- into a more mysterious (but-even-more dangerous) figure.
With the backup of our NextGen Graphics, you'll start seeing him in your mind too. Everywhere.
There will be multiple environments including a Forest, an mysteriously abandoned urban district,
*corrupted*

Engine

The Legend is a survival horror game being developed using Crytek's CryEngine 3.
With CryEngine 3's advanced graphics and physics engine we will be able to bring
a truly terrifying experince to players.

Gameplay

"The Legend" is not, nor has it ever/will be about collecting notes, etc.
The Teaser trailer is just that, a teaser, used to show off the graphics, only.
Notes will be incorporated as achievements only. Additional features? Cell-Phone, AI Squads,
Co-Op Squads, A Story Mode, A Free-Roam Survival Mode, A Co-Op Mode,
Different Characters with different abilties, and more.

FAQ

Q: Will "The Legend" require Crysis 2?
A: "The Legend" will be completely standalone and will not require any pre-requisite gaming software.
Q: Will "The Legend" be available on mac?
A: We are looking into this, but as of now, not at this time.

this sounds cool, i do not have any slender games but i have seen many of them and they where cool but this is different and it will be cool to try and play

this game sounds like it's telling about all the Legends want's to kill the main player.and is there just one legend at a time or all are going to kill you.

I hate games like this in summer. The bloody sun will not set and it's way too bright unless you paint the windows over with ten layers of black paint and I have to wait till the autumn to play it!
