SmashBox Released for Windows!
Description
Release date: OUT NOW!
SmashBox is available for Windows now! You can grab it at smashbox-game.com DRM-free for just $2.99. This will also net you a Desura code(we'll mail this to you as soon as we confirm your purchase), Mac and Linux builds as soon as they're finished, and a Steam code when the game's greenlit!

SmashBox brings you a new name in twitch platforming action! Take control of an ooze-powered, box-hating super soldier and smash your way through a decrepit automated factory running out of check. Dodge the volatile green ooze, activate springs and platforms with powercubes, avoid razor-sharp saws, and navigate an array of other deadly traps that guard the core. Guide your hero through 100 levels of perfection-demanding puzzle platforming action, jumping, bouncing, punching, and exploding. And prepare to die.

A lot.

Features:

- 100 challenging levels
- Even-more-challenging collectibles
- Full level editor
- A million deaths
- Punching!
- Pink hair

SmashBox is a reimagining of a classic Fallen Angel Industries title called Megamunt 2, which can be downloaded for FREE at jollycorpse.com/faind

Enjoy, rate up, and keep in touch with us on Twitter and Facebook for more info!

Thanks!

Definitely not a Flash game! Quite polished, fiendishly difficult, level editor. Smashbox is pretty great!

@Fenrir When we first founded our studio GoG still only released old stuff like Carmageddon and Monkey Island! :P But we're working on it now!

@Catscratch Thanks! We try to emulate the look and feel of SNES and PSX sprites. We're not a fan of ugly fake simulated retro either ;)

Any chance you could get this on GOG? Why do people always go to Desura instead?

Multi-OS support with AMAZING graphics that are actually retro feel without being awful.
Gamep[lay looks fluid and fun and the price is great. I look forward to the release of this game.

Looks pretty damn good, I like how smooth it seems to be animation-wise. Also from the glimpses we saw I have a feeling the level design is pretty good.

Nice little game, I will add to my favorites and keep a close eye on it.

I agree with Meow's comment. This game is very enjoyable, I hope it gets greenlit.

It seems so simple. For a platformer to appeal to me it would have to be something like Super Mario Bros III atleast.
