Rescue Bronwen!

Skyrim meets 'TAKEN' in this violent, fully voiced, quest about a beautiful missing girl. Raven Dark has been asking for you in the Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun. His daughter has gone missing and he wants you to find her no matter what, and punish those responsible. Complete the quest to make new friends truly worth having.

This new adventure, from the creator of 'The False One Rises', includes full voice acting, with work from the Skyrim Voice Actors Guild. It includes a new dungeon, and a new cast of heroes and evil enemies. You will be fighting against deadly opponents and can make conversation choices that reflect your personality. You will have the opportunity to acquire a new romantic-themed and voiced companion with her own personality.

This mod requires no other mods to play.

Q. Do I need any other mods?
A. No.

Q. Do I need Dawnguard?
A. No.

Q. How do I start?
A. Talk to Raven Dark in The Drunken Huntsman, Whiterun.

Q. Raven Dark won't speak with me.
A. Sometimes this happens when new quests are first uploaded. If this happens to you the solution is usually to save the game. Then load up your save.

Q. There are no map markers?
A. No, follow the very simple instructions as to where to go.

Q. I'm having trouble finding Mendrel.
A. From the South/East entrance (the road from Riften) enter the Fort and take the door immediately on your right. Mendrel should be down the stairs, probably getting pounded on by some big dudes

Q. How difficult is this quest?
A. This really depends on how you approach Skyrim. If you are as over-powered as possible then I don't know what it will take to slow you down. Some of the Skyrim perks are over-powered in my opinion and there are mods which will make you even more Godlike. That's not my thing personally. There is a variety of battles in this quest. If you are playing a balanced game, or more challenging build of Skyrim then it could be very dangerous indeed. Luckily you can take companions through every part of this quest, including the new Dungeon.

Q. The male character Raven Dark is no longer a follower?
A. That function is on hold at present.

Q. Any chance of a walkthrough?

Q. Do you watch Xena: Warrior Princess?
A. Yes.

Revision 6: Increased volume of Raven's dialogue and added spontaneous comments from Bronwen.

Thanks for your feedback, Mr Monday - I agree with your ideas. Thanks for playing :)

Having completed the quest now I really have only two gripes. The first is the aforementioned use of Ft Greenwall. I see several others have also pointed it out. The second gripe are the giants. They wouldn't be as bad if they were used more sparingly. One or two's ok. Three or four's pushing it. At five I'm starting to look for a referee and a court to play on.

Also their size is too distracting. If the size was more in range of plausible human sizes they'd be good. Making them as large as the giants already in the game doesn't work. The same is true with the guard dogs. They could be reduced so they're the size of bears or horses and be believable.

Also if I haven't started the quest yet, why are my conversations with the two in Honningbrew Meadery as if I have started the quest?

So I've done all the official games long ago and started getting mod quests recently. I was on my way to Riften from Windhelm. I reached Fort Greenwall and saw the giant in your picture attacking the Stormcloaks stationed there. They ended up killing him. I have not yet started your quest. How badly does this event mess with the storyline? Shouldn't the giant be located at some other fort? Preferably one that doesn't get taken over my soldiers once the Civil War chapter is started.
