Solarnova is a casual, fast-paced independently developed game where players take on the role of a spaceship. Players must escape the impending doom of an exploding star by using gravity to slingshot between planets. The final game will ship with three unique gamemodes, a collection of achievements and powerups, as well as an online high-score leaderboard. Planets are randomly generated with each play-through to make each attempt at beating your high score new and refreshing.

  • Randomly generated planets each time.
  • Online high-score leaderboard.
  • At least 30 achievements.
  • A dozen of exciting powerups.
  • Casual and yet competitive gameplay.
  • Top-down 3D environment.
  • 3 unique gamemodes.

As the game is still early in development, I would love to listen to your input, and help include your ideas into the finished product.[/b]

Free (early alpha) demo is available at

Please note that the video and screenshots are not representive of the final product.

Thanks to all those who voted for Solarnova to be Greenlit!

We are going to be building Solarnova from the ground up for PC, Mac and Linux with Unity3D, so you can expect a quality experience when playing the game.

Fascinating little romp... it looks like a game you could become addicted to, given the right motivators.

We need more casual games like these instead of half-assed attempts at AAA titles

It looks like a fun simple game along the lines of Solar and Solar 2.
