Next game on greenlight - Forgotten Lore!
We've been greenlit!
Scribble Space is an indie game where you get to draw your own spaceship, and fly around with it as well!

The game features a very well polished editor, which includes tools ranging from layering to frame-by-frame animations! The possibilities on what you could make are endless!

Here's some quick info on the game:
  • As Sergeant Scribble, it is up to you to protect the galaxy! But something terrible has happened recently. An ancient evil has awakened.. Some bad guy UFO pirates have kidnapped the Queen Space Bee!! Sergeant, you have to go save her, at all costs!
  • There are some very fun levels, with cute and thoughtful designs. Harder difficulties and different game modes like boss rush will certainly keep you entertained for hours on end!
  • The game will be updated continually! Suggestions and comments are -always- taken into account; so the best, most popular ideas might just make it in the game. Be sure to leave some in the comments!
  • -Very- cheap. Say..$1.99 USD? The price isn't finalized, but as a cutesy indie game; we promise it won't be much!

Be sure to check out for new, updates, and more games!

Scribble Space is already out on Android*, as well! Check out - {LINK REMOVED} - for more info on that!
*(Recommended 2.3+ device, though may run on 2.1+)

--Update 10/5/2012--
We're on Steam Workshop now, as well!

--Update 9/26/2012--
Added a new Youtube video! I'm going to update the Android and Windows apps soon with the new features shown in the video!

--Update 9/18/2012--
I went ahead and updated the website a bit; so now you can play the demo to Scribble Space in your web browser! Try out in any HTML5 ready browser to play! (Chrome or Firefox recommended)

And remember, I'm taking suggestions for future updates! Be sure to post what you would love to see in the comments below!

--Update 8/31/2012--
I noticed some comments about people wondering how the ship editor will work. Let me try to to explain it in more detail. I hope this clears things up, for the curious!
  • Bigger ships will fly slower, of course. They will have larger hitboxes. Plus side? They fire fast and strong!
  • Smaller ships will fly faster!! They will have smaller hitboxes, and consequently fire slower and weaker.
  • The size of the ship is determined by area. That is, width times height of the bounding box. The bounding box is just a fancy way of saying how far out you've drawn.

--Update 8/30/2012--
Many have been asking for a demo. So, here it is!

  • The demo, or 'lite' version is similar to the Android's lite version. It will allow you to play through the first level and first boss on any difficulty; and allows for one create-able ship. (One save slot). I hope it shows off some of the best traits of the game!

Not a bad shooter. Sometimes it would be played to kill time. Over.

It looks very promising. Hand-drawn visuals give this a really cute charm that's rather irresistable. I'd love to play it.

It looks like the calssic side scrolling space shooters, which I love. Plus the hand drawn sprites look adorable. Maybe include some abilities where the player gets to draw some new items?
