Description
Introduction

Monstaaa is hungry, always hungry... He's lived his whole life in a cave and the only things he loves are his bugs. Or rather... he loves eating them!

Rotate the world to help Monstaaa and feed him some delicious bugs. Sounds easy? Well, it does until you realize his caves are full of wicked wickednesses and truly dangerous dangers.

The game is simple yet challenging, has heaps of original game-play ideas and is a lot of fun for anyone who loves physics based puzzles. The game has got cool painterly style graphics, some fairy-talish music and mysterious story.

History & Development

Monstaaa! is a game originally released for iOS and Android where it got many great reviews (see below) and high ratings from users. The major difference with PC version is in controls - instead of tilting the device, players use mouse, keyboard or XBox 360 controller to rotate the world left and right.

The game is already working on PC Windows, so bringing it to Steam is mostly just a matter of integrating Steam leaderboards, achievements and cloud savegames.

First thing I thought when I saw this was how great it would be on an iOS device. It loses quite a bit of steam (haha) on the PC since I imagine unless you're using a controller..or motion sensitive keyboard, you're just using keyboard keys to rotate the screen.

I'm a big supporter of mobile ports being published on Steam IF they work well on PC.

This game looks like it would work poorly without the sensitivity of the tilt sensor. But more importantly, the whole game is based around rotating the game area. That works well on iOS, but rotating a rectangular game area inside a rectangular screen just doesn't seem like it would work that well.

No, have to bend to 'peer' pressure at this point. This game would fare better on a device with an actual tilt sensor. I feel it would suffer being on PC due to the lack of intuitive controls.

Frankly, fuck your elephant fuck fucking fuck. I had headphones on, dammit. Oh, and your game doesn't look very interesting either. Ha ha! I win again!

This definitely doesn't seem to be a game fit for PC Gaming (unless you count flash games), so I think this would fair better in the mobile gaming market.

Yea this isn't the perfect game for the PC but I don't agree with mrjumpingsnake below me that is over reacting.
