It's A Wipe! Preview
Description
Release date: Waiting to be Greenlit... looking at other release options.
A game of fantasy guild management! In It's A Wipe! you assume the role of a guild leader within a fantasy game world. You must recruit other players, lead them to victory against increasingly difficult odds, and make sure that your group remains happy enough to stick with you!

The game is done in a style reminiscent of old school role playing games. While the 'game' within It's A Wipe! is supposed to represent an on-line game world, this is really a single player game. The game play is a mix of strategy, in that you need to figure out an effective plan to beat the encounters, and management, in that you need to balance the various needs and desires of your team of players.

While the game does revolve around trying to win battles to progress, it's not your typical RPG combat. As the leader, you do not directly control your group. You set-up an initial plan, but your group members may decide to go off and do their own thing! You can shout a command at them each turn to try to keep them in line, and do your best to keep them happy with items and by paying attention to their needs.

Three difficulty levels to choose from, dozens of battles to defeat, and hours of challenging entertainment. Lots of options to customize the various displays in the game.

A truly indy project put together by a grand total of 3 people (programmer, musician, and commissioned artist). Please check out our demo at http://www.iawgame.com and help support indy game creators by giving this a thumbs up. Any constructive feedback or helpful suggestions would be appreciated, as we continue to expand the game!

Common Q & A:

System Requirements:
As far as system requirements go - this is currently only for PC's. I hope to be able to do a Mac build in the future (I don't own one right now)... but, other than that pretty much anything made in the last 10 years or so should run it fine!

Graphics/UI:
I know the graphics aren't everyone's cup of tea. The character and background art are probably here to stay, but the UI is currently being worked on to try to improve the look of the game.

* Important: For anyone playing the demo the F1 key will bring up the main menu from most screens. A lot of things can be changed in the Options, such as game speed, some text colors, and sound volume. More options will likely be added in the future as well.

When Will It Be Done:
Now and never... The full game is basically done and just looking to be Greenlit (and we're discussing other release options). But, as we continue to get feedback we will make improvements as best we can and that may get moved back a bit. Since this is also effectively a project done by a couple of people outside of working other full time jobs, production is slowed anytime other life events come up. I hope to be able to continue to add new content after the initial release, and I expect that it will be one of those projects that never truly ends. :)

Pricing:
If the game gets on Steam, Valve will primarily determine the price. I expect it will be on the lower end of the spectrum since this an actual indie game.

@norker77 - You're welcome! I'm glad that you are enjoying it, and I hope that the full game will be available soon! Granted, probably not on Steam anytime soon unless a lot of people come vote for it... but, it will probably be available somewhere before too long :)
