What's the difference between typing a comman and clicking on a command? Besides removing the barier of having to try out all non-available options for that junction?

A hidden object game is something really obvious like: Here's a list of things, find them in this static picture of junk and go to the next level. That's boring, I agree. We all agree in our group and there are no hidden object games on this list because of it.

Castle Dracula and Red Crow have the same gameplay elements as every other point 'n click adventure game, you collect items and you combine or use them to solve a puzzle and progress the plot. I agree that they're dumbed down, but should still deserve a chance.
As for Anamnesis, tat's still what's called a "Text Adventure". Feedback from our group showed that they're to be considered true adventure games and thus resulted in us putting them on our list.

How about Castle Dracula, Red Crow? And Anamnesis isn't even a game by the way, just a story where you can sometimes choose dialogue options, and spend most of the time reading, hence the visual novel tag. There are no puzzles there or anything, I'd dare even say there is no gameplay.

These 'Find all hidden objects' kind of games are putting the adventure genre into bad light. In fact, these casual games aren't adventure games at all. Hence why a good bunch of items in this collection should be removed.
