Universal Gaming Reviews Salvation Prophecy
  • Excellent combination of Space and Land Battles
  • Very addicting gameplay that will have you playing for hours.
  • 4 Unique races to play as.
  • Lots to unlock and discover
  • Variety of weapon upgrades
  • 3 types of main weapons, melee, long range and destruction.
  • Unique worlds to explore and do battle on.
  • Easy to learn how to play and get into.
  • Battles are quick and fun making it a great jump in, jump out game to take a break in.
  • Was created with only one full time developer on a limited budged, which is quite impressive.

The Bad:
  • The textures aren’t the best looking (This doesn’t make the game any less addicting however)
  • Space battles can be a bit tedius after a while with it’s requirement to fly there and back.

Thanks to Shaun Meyers at Universal Gaming Reviews for writing this up!

Salvation Prophecy is a military space epic. Human, mutant, and robotic factions are at war for galactic domination. Battles rage as space fleets collide, and planet invasions clash against fortified enemy colonies. Yet the greatest danger is the impending annihilation foretold by an apocalyptic prophecy. You must seek out the mysteries of distant alien worlds, and master ancient powers to withstand the coming storm.

Reviews:

The setting is compelling, with missions going on in the background and changing the dynamics of the world, with colonies and stations switching hands and news of unsuccessful invasions ticking across the screen.
Both the land and space battles are chaotic, enjoyable messes of dangerous lasers darting across your display. Salvation Prophecy has some of the best non-scripted battles in any space adventure game: forty-ship (or –person (or –alien)) battles here seem more convincing than in some other space games where success is only up to you
-- Out of Eight PC Game Reviews

In short, Salvation Prophecy is a space dogfighter, a third-person shooter and a tactical system-level strategy game, with each facet hinging on RPG-like upgrades and skills. Not only that, but it’s well-written, remarkably attractive and features a very wry sense of humour. And, might I add, coded and written by a single individual.
-- Squadron of Shame Review

I think the biggest selling point of Salvation Prophecy is the audience it can please, with having game play elements in strategy, space combat and first person mode you are not locked into a certain play style and you don't get bored either. I lost track of time while playing this game because the jump between space battles, ground battles and strategy elements are just about perfect. With all of that I give Salvation Prophecy a grade of 92%.
-- Space Sim Central Review

To be an indie game, I must admit that this game is especially unique. It's not just unique but the amount of gameplay features and scope of the game had me taken aback because even big budget AAA games usually don't include the amount of content present in Salvation Prophecy.
-- Gaming Blend Review

when I booted up Salvation Prophecy and it ran smooth as silk.
I’ve said it about 20 times in this review, but Salvation Prophecy really is a simple space-sim. This doesn’t stop it from being a great game though. It combines a number of competent gaming mechanics that don’t overreach themselves and solidly interweaves them all in a dynamic galaxy.

-- Halfbeard's HUD Review

Recently I purchased a game called Salvation Prophecy, this is a game set in space, aliens and humans are at war for domination of the galaxy. EPIC!
All in all the game is very enjoyable and the graphics are very good considering it isn’t a very big game, if you have the money and are a fan of Sci-Fi games then definitely pick this up.

-- Indie House Review

Several questions come to mind, the first of which is ‘why haven’t I heard of this before?’
