Description
NOTE: the video above is a speed run and it is not recommended to watch it completely. The game is turn based and normally you would play much slower. The fish-eye effect is used because it is the most reasonable way to view a hyperbolic world, and this hyperbolic geometry does affect gameplay.

You are a lone adventurer in a strange, non-Euclidean world. Gather as much treasure as you can before the nasty monsters get you. Explore several different worlds, each with its own unique treasures, enemies, and terrain obstacles. The twist is the unusual geometry of the world: it is one of just few games which takes place on a hyperbolic plane. The game is inspired by roguelikes, and by puzzle games (Deadly Rooms of Death).

Runs on Windows, Linux, OSX, and Android. Freeware.

I have no idea what I'm looking at! But upvote since it's freeware.

Dragonbait just automatically goes through pasting that comment and downvoting anything that's labeled Free to Play, assuming it automatically means Freemium ...

Anyway, the idea is neat but I just ... it seems like a randomly complicated concept to make the game seem more unique to me. The fisheye lens makes me feel sick personally, lol.

I love this game to bits. Seriously, give it a shot sometime.

@Dragonbait actually the game is freeware, I have selected "F2P" because I thought it was the closest match. I have updated the description. I am not planning to add in-game purchases or any similar horrid things.

F2P=downvote. If this was a straight forward purchase the game it would be worth an upvote, but F2P and in-game purchases are horrid and will never get any of my pennies.

It's great to see how this game has developed from just the ice world. I had no idea it was on Android too, I'll definitely install it on my phone as well.
