Cardinal Quest II is a turn-based hack 'n' slash adventure. Choose from six classes and fight through randomly generated levels full of bountiful treasures to defeat the forces of darkness!

Turn-Based Tactical Combat

Use skills, items and the environment to overcome your enemies. Reflexes won't save you in Cardinal Quest; you live or die on your wits.

Choose Your Destiny

Each of the six classes can be customised with a concise but potent talent tree. Your choices of items, weapons, skills and talents will define their strengths and weaknesses, shaped around both your personal preferences and the powers you find.

Streamlined Gameplay

Cardinal Quest II has a streamlined swap-in, swap-out inventory system. All the depth and complexity of an RPG - with no fussy inventory management!

Procedurally Generated

Each of the distinct locations you travel through on your journey is procedurally generated. Each new game brings fresh rewards and new dangers.

Permadeath

Put everything on the line! A single mis-step can end your journey. Dead heroes are consigned to Cardinal Quest II's Heroic Record, which will forever display an epitaph of their travels.

Project status:

We're super hard at work right now putting the finishing touches on Cardinal Quest II and expanding it to over three times the scope of Cardinal Quest I. I'll be updating the project more often in the coming months as we get closer to release :)

When I compare this version to the one jesse is playing in the video I notice the demo is definetly an old version. The indiegogo is over though. Is there a way, anywhere, to buy into the beta? I can't find one.

I want this badly and was disappointed to find that the kickstarter expired.. After playing with the wizard for like 15 minutes and hitting the end of the trial I was ready to buy.
