Traitor Nightly is a unique take on interactive fiction.

You will play the board-game "Traitor" against the Grandmaster. As a news reporter, you will interview him. However, if you start winning, his answers will change...

Spoilers:
If you are paying attention, you will learn that if the Grandmaster loses the game, he will be executed. It is up to you to decide whether to throw the game, and lose on purpose.

This is a board game, but it is not about the board game.
This is interactive fiction, but it's not about branching storylines or stats.
This is simply about talking to another person, listening to them, taking what you know, and doing something different.

Other Features
  • It's a short game! Like, only half an hour or so.
  • It's set in the richly-imagined Pharostine Empire. Think Byzantine Empire crossed with the Ottoman Empire and 1920s America.
  • The board game itself is fun too! But, again, it's not really about the game.

It sounds like a very intersting look at the concept of "Winning" and "Losing." Hope to see it succeed.

Trailer added. Probably won't add any content post-release. This is an experiment in short-form gaming as an art form. :)

Strategy board game + dialogue-driven story is a unique combination and the premise is really exciting to me. Hoping to see this on Steam soon!

If it is short game then I hope that it is also very cheap like under 1$ or then need future some updates that more playable content. Also need gameplay trailer
