Hey, man. Awesome work on the maps. Probably my favorite map so far, because you actually gave it an "atmosphere". There's another map where you're air-dropped from the dropship. Would you consider future campaigns where that happens? Another idea, but it would probably be more work than it's worth, could be implementing A.I. marines that fight against the Swarm. Say a base is being attacked and your goal is to escape, meanwhile base security is fighting against the swarm, or something.

Oh, it must have been my fault for not noticing. I once tried to join a City 17 lobby but the link it was showing me to download was redirecting me to somewhere else which means host could not have downloaded it from workshop.

If you click the "DOWNLOAD ADD-ON" button while you browse public games it will open workshop item in steam overlay

Yeah, RD could use some more workshop integration for downloading maps like opening the workshop file in the steam overlay.

Just exchanging the link is technically a little thing but would improve the workshop integration and the broadened usage of workshop maps because of easier accessibility.

If I load this map on a listen-server and invite friends, they cant join if they didn't subscribe also. This is ok, it's the same behavior as in the original Alien Swarm. Would be nice if maps could be downloaded automatically like in csgo, but that's not important.

The thing is: when a friend gets the error-message that he can't load the content, he gets provided with a link. And that link should point to this page so thus he can subscribe in Steam-Overlay and with the next invite actually join.

But the link points to the original AS mappacks own website, which is nice but hardly useful since the game got workshop integration. Additionally the provided website links to gamebanana and moddb which is also very nice but part of the old content-distribution-system too.
