---THIS IS NOT ANOTHER iOS PORT---
This is not just another port of an iOS game! Paper Monsters was designed from the ground up to be a solid platformer on on any system. It also features full controller support.
We are excited to finally crank out some of the high end features we just had to cut on the iOS version:

•New UI for steam with a more standard PC settings and selection (up down keys etc)
•Full control of resolution settings.
•Antialiasing options (2x, 4x 8x, etc)
•Full screen bloom effects
•Depth of field

---Why it will rock on Steam---
Not only will the steam version have a ton of new features and steam achievements but, it will also have more than double the amount original levels than the original.
It may be a little cute for some hardcore killing machines but, the final release will be right up there in terms of quality and content.

At first I was hesitant, but I decided to click on this item from my queue. I'm normally the kind of guy to opt for T+ games. This looks like a solid platformer title to me.

Seems like a really nice game and I'm a huge fan of these kind of games. I definitely want to see more about this, hope steam will release this!

I have no issues with copying the format of mario. And good to see a port from mobile is actually having some thought put into it. To me, the current sounds are repeditave I suggest alternate them (randomly or in a pattern). Textures should be seemless these days, I can see the gap beween them in the gameplay trailer. specially on hills/angles. not sure if its a game I'd play enough of on pc, maybe i'll pickup the android release.
