How to get revived.
By Tajin
So the enemy has been mean to you, a teammate ran you over or you simply felt the urge to jump from a building and break your knees?
Follow these simple steps to get back into the fight. (without getting your medic killed in the process)
Bleeding but conscious
? squad and medic nearby ?
  • Yes)
    • ? enemy in sight ?
      • Keep firing
      • Move back to cover
      • Tell your team
      • Bandage yourself if you have the opportunity otherwise keep covering until the medic arrives.
      • Bandage yourself while medic covers or keep covering while medic bandages you (medic decides)
      • DO NOT look at the medic!

    • No)
      • Get to cover
      • Tell your team
      • Bandage yourself
      • Keep covering, wait for medic
      • Do not call / annoy the medic, he sees that you're injured. Just trust him.
      • Make sure there is enough cover for the medic, stay in front of him, and most importantly: DO NOT look at the medic!

  • No)
    • Keep firing
    • Move back to cover
    • Report your enemy contact
    • Bandage yourself
    • Hold position or fall back to your team/medic (using the map is very helpful at this point)
  • Tell your team that you're down and where you think you got shot from
  • Relax and keep an eye on the map (you can check if there are any medics in the area worth waiting for)
  • Do not cry for medic (they see you highlighted, so don't annoy them)
  • If you see a medic approaching your position, let him know where the enemies are and if it is safe to get to you
  • NEVER rush the medic. Keeping himself alive is more important than getting you up as fast as possible.
  • When you get revived, immediately pull out your gun and watch the last known direction of the enemy.
  • Listen to the medic!
  • DO NOT look at the medic!

After beeing revived it is often wise not to draw unnecessary attention to the medic. If possible, resume fighting only once the medic has left the area.
Other things...
You guessed it:
DO NOT look at medics.

No seriously, when you notice medics working nearby:
  • don't just sit there, move to a position where you can cover them
  • DO NOT hide behind the medics
  • make sure there is only 1 medic per casualty > call out to them if they start to bunch up
  • Put down smoke, but only if the medic is ok with it (sometimes does more harm than good)
  • Put the smoke between the enemy and the casualty, not directly on them.
  • Medics and Squadleaders always get revived first. Don't be mad about this.

If you see a medic going down, let people know. (especially if it is your squad-medic and he hasn't called it out. This information is vital for your second medic !)

Oh no, I wasnt reffering to your guide which is excellent.. It the people that still kept asking why not to look at the medic which is in your guide. I guess they didnt read the whole thing.

Well, the text says that you should provide cover and/or watch the last known enemy location. Guess that is clear enough.

For the people who are wondering why looking at the medic is a no no, I think the reason is the medic's priority is you and he is an open target to enemies nearby so hes basically running into harms way blind and your job is to keep situaltional awareness so the medic doesnt get killed treating you because your looking at him instead of looking for threats and covering so you dont get both of you killed. But I think saying "dont look at the medic" with no explanation will just get people confused and probably curious to see what happens if they do look at him or do something else like look at the ground for fear of the "dont look at the medic!" rule.

Tip: the amount of medics in an area is directly proportional to the amounts of grenades that will land in that area.

As a medic main, I agree with the 'do not look at medics' part. I'm very self-conscious, and I might run away if people stare at me. :soldieryeah:

Pro tip: dont look at the medic when you're being healed. Fucking cover the medic, no look into his eyes. kthx

Oh my god. I main the medic, and everytime I heal or revive they always look back at me and since I don't have a mic, both of us end up getting shot.
