Description
Release date: Beta Summer 2013. Final release autumn 2013
Overview

Gear Up is an online multiplayer game where you build tanks and participate in online challenges such as battles, races and other missions. We have created lots of weapons, turrets, chassis and tracks, all ready to be assembled with each other. Thousands of different tanks can be created and if you think wheels and tracks are boring – why not try the spider legs, hovers or wings? All vehicle parts are physically simulated and tweaked towards arcade action.

Features
  • Up to 32 player battles
  • Arcade physics simulation
  • Leaderboards, achievements and clan support
  • Game Editor
  • Built on in-house technology.
  • To be released for Windows, Mac and Linux

Challenges
  • Challenges are dynamic, updated and replaced on a regular basis. Popular challenges stays longer, unpopular are replaced by new ones.
  • Complete challenges to level up and get access to more vehicle parts.
  • A challenge can be almost any game mode such as multiplayer battles, singleplayer races or co-op missions.
  • You will be able to create new challenges in the game editor.
Create

We will ship Gear Up with a game editor and all the source content. In the editor you can build or modify levels, vehicle parts, game modes or any other game content. As we are a very small independent team we gladly involve you in the development process. Through the developer forums you can help us with your ideas on how to improve the game and make it even more fun.

there are no players in game. I think it isn't very fun to play vs yourself.

Dont listen to Caboose unless you totally want to throw out the balance of the game. I think weapon mas should slow its rotation and the sniper should get a laser.

The screenshots are on outdated maps, although the tank gameplay is very much like it

Any chance of letting Linux users get the early access like windows users?
