Dwarven Machinery

This mod adds a set of perks in the Smithing skill tree that allow you to create dwarven machines, which essentially act as a summon: dwarven spiders, spheres and centurions. These machines can be upgraded to be quite powerful. Furthermore, this mod allows several items to be upgraded, including allowing the creation of dwarven ballistas.

All the summons and the ballista are deployed simply by dropping the item. The item is stored in the misc section of your inventory. You can pick the items back up by hitting your action key for the summons, or holding it for the ballista. Tapping the action key will fire/reload the ballista.

Also new are perk books. These perks can be used to learn a smithing perk. They drop from Centurions and can be found in a few high level dwarven chests. To use them, just drop them out of your inventory (I swear I tried really hard to do it when you read them, but I couldn't figure out how to force it to delete the book afterwards).

Please comment on any bugs/power issues/suggestions. Power issues include spells being over-powered, underpowered, or issues with the amount of experience gained through spells.

And, of course, if you like the mod please upvote it! It helps get the visibility up, which leads to more people downloading it. And the more people who download it, the more I'll feel like adding content! Everybody wins!

youve made some amazing mods, i wish more mod makers that add skill trees would just do what you are doing. you should take what the way of the monk mod does and make it in this style. i was also wondering if you plan on doing for alchemy what you did for the other crafting trees?

Hello there, if you are reading this comment, then I have subscribed to the mod currently on this page. I am leaving this comment because one of the mods I am subscribed to seems to be causing an error with the Deepwood Redoubt area. Every time I approach it, the game freezes with a windows error message every time. Because of this, I cannot finish multiple quests. Bethesda and Steam tech supports were of no assistance, so I am trying to figure this out myself. If anyone is having the same issue as me, even if it is on a different mod, please leave a reply or send me a message.

Using this and Syynxs' Perky mod together looks like it's compatible, but I was unable to select any smithing perks after I installed this mod EXCEPT for the new machinery perks. :(

only one perk tree shows up at a time, so multiple mods that affect the perk trees need compatability patches to be able to show their perks at the same time. Thats why you cant run the dwarven machinery mod with the Ace smithing mod, two wildly different smithing trees.

For some reason the perk tree isn't showing up. I do have other mods that affect the smithing tree and one that adds a new perk. Is there a specific order I shoul load these?
