Description
Due to popular demand (well one guy asked for it, and to me that means popular) I present to you Erock's Skyrim Metal Combat music replacer.

What this mod does is replace the Skyrim combat music with some serious metal guitar shredding - this is designed for those who find the game too easy, so now whilst you fight things, you need to be able to windmill and work the mouse *at the same time*. So yeah, only the most hardcorest of metal heroes should even attempt to try this mod. <Master difficulty is for wimps>.

Remember please RATE THIS UP it if you like it (Thumbs up icon below the main pic - and if you like it alot add to Favorites) - that way more people will see it and enjoy it.

Am open to suggestions as to whether the music starts in a good place, and also fyi there are Skyrim music tracks that play on Fite completion as a kind of atmospheric wind down, so not quite sure how to tackle that one - maybe a section from ERocks track with fade? - but again throw any ideas my way - any good or popular ones can try to implement.

So on to the statutory announcements you all know and love:

If you hate metal, people with long hair, guitar wielding metal heroes or just stuff in general, then this is surely the mod for you to come along and comment on (and secretly subscribe to, yeah we all know you do, you naughty thing you).

So enjoy (or spaz out and try to wind people up in comments and just behave like a general tool)

For people that do enjoy this, goodo and tell Erock how much he rocks with a capital E on his site (http://www.shredguitareric.com/) or on his youtube Skyrim-metallingoutwithavengeance page (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDE2VQzghp4)

For those non-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ members of society, please just remember not to feed the underbelly of Steam workshop in comments which will not doubt arrive here in force in time, and to whom I will now address:

For people that hate this or are just general hatemongers/griefers/♥♥♥♥♥♥♥/wannabee-trolls/massive asshats that are sure to flock here, nice to see you - hope you learn to relax and or grow up one day.

Have fun people :)

Oh also added a quick snippet video of the mod in action in Skyrim (featuring our all time favourite door blocker Lydia), so people can see what they will get via an in game example audio wise by subscribing (video/sound straight from Skyrim OMG), plus has the added benefit of getting dumbasses allllll upset visually wise about my other stuff which is nothing to do with this mod. Annnnnnd another longer vid of slaughtering for your delight.

TS

Credits: All go to Erock without whom there would be no E-shredding of Skyrim music as an offering to the Skyrim Metal Gods. Ahhhh yeah...

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How do I download this awesome mod of Shredding?
A: Click on the big green subscribe button, and next time you load up Skyrim your head will be blown clean off by the winds of metal being conjured by your mighty sound system.

Q: My head was not blown clean off by the winds of metal, please make the winds stronger.
A: Sadly Skyrim has an in-built 'metal wind safety limiter', and I cannot make this play any louder, even if I wear a safety suit and dangerously increase the volume on the source file. I have tried this and believe me, I did not come out unscathed. Therefore for your own protection Skyrim will play the music at a set volume. You can however increase the music volume in game under the Audo option - therefore it is up to you if you dare to increase the music volume in Skyrim or your own speaker volume to increase the potency of the metal you experience.

Q: I am a certified ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and to boot a full time massive asshat and I hate metal, everyone who downloads this and you for making this available. I feel compulsed by my tragic disabilities to make you all aware of my feelings in comments.
A: Wow thanks genius for your amazing comment, we all feel righteously educated by your contribution. Now get back to eating some paint.

Make sure you have subscribed to the mod. Start up Skyrim Launcher, wait a min or so until it has loaded all the mods you have subbed to, then play the game and have fun - you can double check in the Datafiles option from the launcher menu to ensure you have the mods you want to play with loaded (make sure they are checked).

Just making sure I am interpreting this right. So when you say replace, does that mean that this mod will conflict with other combat music mods?

Sweet mother of God yes!

I know, like the mod, but I didn't want it to replace. Didn't read clearly enough. I clicked unsub, but it kept playing the music anyway. Went through every data file, wasn't there. Decided to try subbing, then deleting the datafile. I think it worked.

P.S Woulda tunk that unsubbing pressing the giant green buttan again would do the same thing, but if not, then ok then - do the below :)

Simples mon amigo, ma cochon d'inde, you just open up Datafiles from the launch screen and uncheck any mods you don't loaded.
