Tundra Tower

Description
(Hearthfire DLC required)!

This will be the last Tower mod I do for awhile, I figured for this one I'd tone it down abit ie: no weapons/armor, no spells/skills, no portals etc. After completing this one I rekon it will be the one I'll base at mostly.

Situated along the road roughly halfway between Whiterun and Rorikstead is the Tundra Tower.

This playerhome is suited for any number of playstyles, it is compact but offers all the usual crafting and couple others unique to Hearthfire dlc.

The tower is guarded day and night by 5 Redguard warriors taking turn on watch, one of which "Zxarrel" can become your follower (also marked as marriable but not as yet tested!). The guards are all on different patrol times some of which overlap longer than others. When not patroling they will make use of the various crafting, resting and idle markers laid out around the area.

The building itself comprises of 4 sections/floors , (Ground). Planting/hatchery/apiary. (2nd). main living area/library. (3rd). Blacksmithing/armory. (Rooftop). Enchanting/Alchemy.

There is also a small amount of crafting supplies to be found within the tower along with a Blacksmithing outfit.

Follower Zxarrel comes equiped with his own Redguard weapons and armor. He has the following perks; Muffled Movement, Lightfoot and Silent roll. In addition to having your back Zxarrel can also train you to skill lvl75 in one handed weapons. If you dont want him as a follower he will simply go about being a guard! (if you cant seem to find him note; he patrols both inside and outside of tower incl. roof).

Please rate/leave comment, thank you.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. Yes probably over did it with the amount of guards given the small size of the tower, I was just learning about guard patrols and AI packages at time of making. The fishery being placed in a seperate cell was purely because I'm not comfortable messing about or altering landscape. Apiary was an after thought. Thanks for trying the mod out , I always apreciate feedback so I can impliment/improve on future mods I do.

Nice idea and thank you for sharing your hard work. Some thoughts: I think putting the apiary outside (bees!) would make more sense as well as the hatchery. Also 1 or 2 guards should be plenty. Thanks again for sharing.

Was'nt much I could do other than place in 2 wood beams side by side over tiles. The meeting point of the 2 tower sections could'nt be altered further without seriously affecting other surrounding elements. I hope this basic patchup helps, it should be less distracting now .

@Vahlan It is on the top of the exterior, the line of tiles between the enchanting and alchemy stations. Thanks for taking a look at it.

Just been in-game , sorry but I'm not seeing any flickering. Can you explain with a little more detail where exactly this is happening please?

@orangecamo If you mean the floor that bookshelfs are on it could be because I sunk a bedroll into that floor, if you mean floor blacksmithing is on I'll have to take a look. Either way I'll see if I can fix it today.

I really like the feel of this one, it is a tower that a young wizard can grow into :) I the floor on top is flickering a bit. Would you happen to know what might be causing it?

Now that the apiary & hatchery are functional, your mod allows an alchemy oriented player to start his game with quick and easy access to a large number of planting spaces as well as a dependable supply of three of an ingredient fish of his choice every four days. Too many house mods lack not only plantimg but a properly functioning hatchery as well. Tundra Tower is tops!
