Alex and Ash Build [WIP][DW]

Play as Alex and Ash, from the famous Hotline Miami Series.

Introduction

This guide is based off of the characters Alex and Ash Davis from Hotline Miami 2.

Alex is famous for starting off with a chainsaw, while Ash is known for starting with a pistol and picking up other weapons on the fly.

This is a two-person guide designed for loud. It can be used on anything Deathwish and below, but is not advised to be used in One Down.

Alex should only use melee and Ash should only use weapons. They'll both use the Ammo Bag as equipment.

-UPDATE- It is HIGHLY advised that Ash use the Frenzy skill. It can be very helpful to her.

Ash

Ash is the brother of Alex Davis. He's known for his ability to use guns. For this guide, we are going to use his famous shotgun and starting pistol. Because he is only going to be using weapons, he's going to need some serious firepower skills.



For the primary shotgun, we're going to use the Reinfield with the following attatchments:
000 Buckshot Rounds
Muldon Stock
and the Shark Teeth Nozzle.




This will simulate the pump action shotgun used in Hotline Miami. It is very much similar and looks very close to the one in game. In addition to this, it has the same ammo capacity, of six rounds.

For the secondary pistol, the one Ash starts with, we use the basic Interceptor 45 with no attatchments. It is very similar in style and in magazine capacity.


This will simulate Ash's starting pistol. It is only two rounds off of his initial ammo count. While in Hotline Miami it is 15, in PAYDAY 2 it is 13.

We are going to use the following skills invested in these trees:






Ash should use the lightweight bulletproof vest.

And finally, we are going to use the Grinder Perk Deck. It's very helpful, and will make sure Alex can stay strong hiding behind Ash.

Alex

Alex is the sister of Ash Davis. She's going to be using the chainsaw exclusively. Because of this, she should routinely take cover, and use the most powerful melee skills available.











She's going to be using the Lumberlite V2 Chainsaw.


For her skills, she needs to use the following to work properly:






These skills will allow to do her as much damage as possible while only using melee. She should also be using the ICTV (Improved Combined Tactical Vest).

In addition to this, the Kingpin perk deck works well with her. She's able to tank a ton of damage and chop people to bits.

Tips and Tricks

• It's useful for both of them to routinely take cover.

• They both should be taking their injector as much as possible.

• Alex should be in the front, as she can tank a lot of damage, especially with her injector. Ash should wait behind and cover her.

• Any throwable is really OK in this build, however, if they both use concussion grenades, they can
  be more effective with Ash's melee.
