A daunting puzzle full of laser barriers and deadly goo. The object is to make your way across the main room, however, to do so you must weave your way through three side rooms that have ever increasing complexity, finally landing you on the end platform where all your hard work comes together.

Taking over a month to construct and thoroughly playtested, we feel this is by far the best test chamber either of us has ever made.

Although we have endevoured to make a robust test that cannot be broken by lost cubes and the like, we highly recommend using the F6 autosave frequently in case of death since it is a fairly long test chamber and unfortunate mistakes can happen. Note: F7 key can be used to load your autosave if required.

Thanks to mechtakendall for helping iron out a few bugs.

No, I think I came off wrong. It's a pain to do, but the nice thing is the recovery is not. That's what makes that still ok in my book. I missed several times before I got it, but then, I'm horrible at those kinds of things. :P

@mechtakendall As always great advise, thank you.
We've found that the momentum throw in room one is easily achieved by standing on the glass box, setting your portals and then aiming your crosshair at the angled platform 2 portals down, then as you fall keep your crosshair trained on the angled panel and then when you clear the 2nd portal fire, works 90% of the time I'd say, however if you miss it, yes it can be a pain. The 2nd rooms ball manuvering is what we were going for in that room, sorry you don't like it. Is the most painfull part the visibility? (We could raise the roof of the alcove on the left) Timing? (We could raise the main roof so the ball has further to fall to the cross beam) Difficulty in judging accurately when to swap buttons? (Sort of what we intended, however we feel there are enough reference points on the roof that it shouldn't take more than a couple of attempts)

Finished! Room 1 is fixed, as is room 3. No exploits found with the light bridge in room 2. Few pointers, the momentum throw from ceiling to floor in room 1 is a pain in the a**, ended up targeting the blur and got lucky. The ball movement in room 2 is also a real pain. The part at the end had me stumped until I realized the ceiling tile was lined up. Nicely done! Difficulty 8/10 Design 7/10

@mechtakendall Think I've fixed room 1 and 3. Please let me know if not. ;)

@mechtakendall Thanks, would love to see video or screen shot of the exploits so we can patch them. "The momentum throw is not easy to do without clipping the laser field" (jumping thru a portal from on the box thru the angled panel should get you killed, you need a 'longer' fall) "could of used ceiling tile instead" (doesn't the fizzler stop that?) "The 3rd room, you can hurl yourself across without need of the glass platform" (will have to fix that) "...with the reverse funnel running/lightbridge" (let us know if you can exploit using the light bridge from the 2rn side room)

Didn't finish it yet, getting late and I'm getting stalled at the end. I see things I can do, but just too tired tonight to finish. I'll do it again tomorrow with fresh eyes (and more wakefulness). Anyhow, on to the things I broke. In the 1st side chamber, never used the ceiling tile across the acid, was able to peek around the corner to see through the other door. The momentum throw is not easy to do without clipping the laser field (could of used ceiling tile instead). The 2nd room, moving the sphere accurately, I can see people losing patience with this. The 3rd room, you can hurl yourself across without need of the glass platform (I did this). Commend you on the neat backtracking to get the 1st chamber cube. Got all the way to the exit with the reverse funnel running/lightbridge from the 3rd chamber before I was just too tired to finish. Stay tuned as I'll run it again tomorrow night.

A lot of time and effort has gone into this map, myself and ThatGuy007 have tested this to not only make it robust but to make it more than just working your way from start to finish and feel more like a 'journey' of sorts. Hope you all enjoy this map and please leave comments as we both are interested to hear people's views.
