====Secluded Mountian House====

The Secluded Mountian House is ideal for players starting new characters or wish to live in some solitude. Featuring a small but cosy interior, it will satisfy players wishing to play in a 'realistic' style without providing too much assistance.

> Exceptional attention to detail!

> Beautiful location!

> Tanning rack, wood chopping block & blacksmithing equipment (no smelter though- do not ask if I can add it, it was left out deliberately ). This mod isn't desgined as a large house, so please do not ask if I can add this or add that.

> Storage and display including weapon racks and non- respawning player owned chest & strongbox.

> The location is ready to fast travel to (see pictures above). Look North of Falkreath on the map.

Please remember to rate this mod thumbs up if you enjoy what I've done, feedback is welcome as well!

I hope you enjoy the Secluded Mountian House!

A. The creation kit has a known bug that sometimes fails to load large statics. Simply fast travel back and forth a few times (to another location pref a few cells away- the nearest minor town works) as it is the best remedy for this until Bethesda provide a fix. This castle may be affected more than others because this castle doesn't use a pre-built house model. I design the exterior from scratch and make it the shape I want, so it involves many more pieces!

A. Most of the time this is due to authors updating their mods, house mods especially, and as this description mentions several times, backup those data files and save games to avoid the headache! Delete the lastest data file and restore your backup of the previous version to revert to a last known good configuration.

A. Scripting the spouse to move in is a little harder than you think. Hence why almost no house mods have it. Try this mod by 'Amgepo & Emma' that allows your spouse to live anywhere; http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11370

In regards to NPC's not functioning properly: Quote from the creation kit webpage "There is currently an issue causing navmeshes in .ESPs to stop working if you travel a few cells away from where they are placed. NPCs stop moving and will not resume until the game is restarted. This issue is being addressed, and a fix is in the works."

A. This is another Creation kit bug. If they are walking or not displaying armour try fast travelling or save game re-load. If they are not in the right spot, go to where the trigger is (where they should be) and equip them with armour. 9/10 times they will appear back in the right spot!

>Q. MY NPC HAS A GREY FACE (not applicable to this particular mod)..
A. Another creation kit bug. A permanent fix by Bethesda will eventually happen I hope. This bug affects all new NPC's created and even copied versions of exsisting NPC's. And yes, I am aware of the crtl+F4 method (export face gen data method) in the CK, for me it works, on upload to the workshop however, it seems to not apply to everyone else.

A. This can be from many things. Load order, conflicting mods or corrupt save/data files are common causes. Unfortunately there is not much I can do as the mod is fine, just some incompatibility has arisen. Until then try using a clean save or sort the mod in a higher load order.

>Please try these general troubleshooting tips for any difficulties;

-- Reload your save game or load a different save game.
-- Fast travel to another location then come back to the problem area.
-- Exit Skyrim then restart it again.
-- Disable all mods via Skyrim (un-check the boxes) then enable them all again. Load orders can be issues as well.
-- Use your backup of the plugin data file as described in the first question above.

Great lifesaver for a beginning player who does not know where to put all the stuff. This house is a great help and has character as well. Thanks.

Awesome mod, I love it, perfect for my necro/hunter of a nord who enjoy's his fur armor and when pissed off watches his atranochs tear down his enemies. One of my favroite. Theres the mod "followers can relax" which allows me to tell say my dog who lives insie my house to chill out for a while then i tell him to go home (removing him from my service) so he lives in the house but isnt my follower. (bad ass loop hole) but there is quite a problem getting any follower type into the little fenced area I supposed that would be a Navmesh problem? but I did finnaly get my follower Vorstag into the gated area just to tell him to chill then in turn telling him to beat it making it his now residence just like the dog and he uses everything just fine like the garden and grindstone and tanning rack. Love this house! thankyou so much.

Perfect home for my character. Today the barraels and bags next to the Alchemy Lab reset, other containers are fine. No mods installed or updated today. I have been using this house for one character about 80 hours gameplay. Not complaining i only had a very few alchemy mats there but worth saying I think. Other containers are fine.

I love this cottage. It's just the right size for a little personal hideaway. Whenever the hustle and bustle of my ten followers, two adopted kiddies and loving husband in the nearby "big" house get to be too much for me (which is often), I slip away to this quiet cottage and enjoy some down time. I don't care for displays of armor and weapons and jewelery so I don't need mannequins, display cases, weapon racks, and the like. I just want a place to kick back, read, enjoy some spiced wine with goat cheese and wind down. For that, this cottage is perfect. Thanks for the mod.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I have been very busy with life and other interests so I have had little time for any more work in the CK or my house mods.. but I do manage to read some of the comments from time to time and I appreciate them :) Hope you all continue to have many great adventures in Skyrim!
