City Name Generator [R&F Compatible]

Description
Procedurally generates city names based on nearby terrain.

Instead of picking from the usual list of real place names, this mod invents a new one whenever a city is founded, by stringing together words appropriate both to that civilisation, and to the nearby terrain features and resources.

For example, a city founded by England, next to a river, a forest and a cattle resource, might get named "Cowbridge Wood".

Features:
- Extensive dictionary of words for each civ, so you're unlikely to see the same name two games in a row.
- Etymology tooltips: Hover the mouse over a city centre to see a translation of the name's meaning.
- Dynamic renaming: City names will sometimes change or be added to when they build their first district, or when they're captured by another civ.
- Does not require any DLC.

Compatability
This mod overrides the file PlotToolTip.lua in order to add extra information to tooltips. It will conflict with any other mod which overrides the same file. (i.e. any other mod which changes tooltips), meaning you'll get the tooltips from one mod or the other, not both.

If you're having problems with tooltips, you can delete the UI parts of City Name Generator and the rest of the mod will work fine. You just won't get the etymologies in tooltips.

Civilizations Included
Includes lists for the following civs:
- all civs from the vanilla game
- all DLC civs except Khmer
- Scotland from the Rise And Fall expansion

Civs without a word list will not be affected by this mod, so will use their default city names.

Civilizations/Leaders from other mods
Names are generated by Civilization Type, and will work the same for all alternate leaders of that civilization, even ones added by mods. So, e.g. an alternate leader for Rome added by another mod will still get Roman names generated for it.

If no word list exists for a civilization (e.g. because it's a whole new civ added by another mod) then it will not be affected and will use it's default city names.

Known Issues
Does not work properly in multiplayer. Different players will see different names for the same city.

I suggest only using this mod in singleplayer.

Something I've noticed with this mod is that the names are often too long. For example, I've mainly only seen Germanic civs (with the exception of Norway) using three parts to their names as opposed to two, which is far more typical IRL. This results in some weirdly long names and also increases the chances of the name making no sense. I've noticed the English names are especially strange.

I don't know modding officially; but, it was flagged as incompatible for GS for me by either GS or Enhanced Mod Manager. I don't know which flagged it to be honest. Thank you for this mod and your time modding. All of you modders are awesome!
