I simply put the Repulsion Gel on the last cube before escaping the pit with the first 2 turrets and fell through it, so I just bounced onto the end of that pit.

The propulsion gel was intended for quickly getting past the first 2 turrets and getting to the final room, I'm assuming there must be other ways to complete the test without it.

Great test chamber with simple and straightforward design. Really gets you thinking about how to approach the next trial. I never, however, found myself using the Propulsion Gel, so i do not know what that was intended for.
