Description
Civ V: Communitas is a community-made expansion pack for Civilization V: BNW.

We started this project because we believe Civilization is a fantastic game, and we aim to perfect it while remaining as close to the core experience as possible. We think games should be intuitive to learn, challenging to master, and rewards should match the difficulty to complete tasks. We believe in finding balance between extremes. We set a high bar for adding new things to the game, and instead improve or replace existing objects when possible.

Communitas is a collaboration of work from dozens of authors, plus an incredible community of forumgoers on CivFanatics.com. The Latin word “communitas” means an unstructured community in which people are equal, or to the very spirit of community.

The expansion pack provides:

- A fun and realistic map script.
- New units, buildings and wonders.
- Smarter AI players.
- Balanced gameplay.
- Expanded modding tools.
- Improved interface features.
- Fixes for bugs in the core game.

Most of the pack is gone and manual install under Linux is a big mess.

... after re-installing, clearing MODS , cache , and ModUserData folders in My Documents/My Games/ Sid Meier's Civilization 5 , and manually unpacking the mods into MODS , everything seems to work again.

I followed the instructions at http://communitas.wikia.com and my Civ 5 completely stopped working (the game exits while starting, before it gets to the main menu). Reinstalling now...

Browsing their forums, it looks like they may have changed how they host files recently. I assume that some sort of links got broken.

I was able to follow the instructions on their website (http://communitas.wikia.com) to manually install, and it's working great!

Anyone find out where the other mods went? It's really tough to play civ without those mods.

yeah, It really the best AI mod. The enhancements/balances were all really well done and the interface was a nice improvement.

I was given a prompt in-game to update all communitas mods when I loaded up my mods (the exception being the communitas map mod) and before they even started updating they dissapeared from the in-game list of mods. I closed the game and checked my workshop subscribed mods and they were gone, is this an update gone wrong? will they be back? I can't play singleplayer any other way and I want them back

It says that i'm still subscribed if I look in the list of my favorited mods but, if I click on it i'm taken to a "mod has been removed" page. Hope this doesn't break my current game =(

Indeed, the other mods are gone. Any ideas, guys?
