Description
Now you can craft soul gems from soul gem fragments and even other soul gems!

Using soul gem fragments (there are five different types in Skyrim) you can craft petty soul gems at any forge. You need to have the Enchantment perk, level 1 (level 2 for Greater gems, level 3 for Grand gems). Soul gems can also be "updated" to the next tier:

3 Soul Gem Fragments = 1 Petty Soul Gem
2 Petty Soul Gems = 1 Lesser Soul Gem
2 Lesser Soul Gems = 1 Common Soul Gem
2 Common Soul Gems = 1 Greater Soul Gem
2 Greater Soul Gems = 1 Grand Soul Gem

In addition, you can craft 5 Lesser Soul Gems from 10 Petty Soul Gems.

Be sure to subscribe to this mod on Steam Workshop if you like it, and please leave a comment or suggestion - it's always appreciated!

Note: I've only tested this with unfilled Soul Gems. It may be the case that filled gems will convert to unfilled gems when "upgrading." If this is the case, please let me know and I'll try to update the mod accordingly. Thanks!

v.1.0: (02/08/12)
First added mod.

v.1.1: (02/09/12)
New Update. Changed 5 types of Soul Gem Fragments into one single type (the 4 other types were replaced by this one, but weren't deleted from the game just in case...) so now when crafting Petty Soul Gems only 1 option comes up instead of 5 - makes it MUCH easier this way. Also, now crafting Greater Soul Gems requires Enchantment perk level 2 instead of level 1; crafting Grand Soul Gems requires Enchantment perk level 3, instead of level 1. For balancing reasons.

@Icemelt (etc.): I actually didn't add black soul gems because I already have another mod, Craftable Black Soul Gems, which I created before I decided to create this particular mod. Eventually I had hoped to combine them, along with some kind of revision of soul gems in general but for now I've left it alone because it would probably be incompatible/create issues with that other mod...

Did you think black soul gems to be too OP? I like the features and combos for crafting with your mod, but it's missing BSGs, so should I use a suplementary mod for JUST BSGs, should I use another mod that is lackluster in design simply becuase it HAS BSGs.. or should I conform to the idea of BSGs being OP on purpous and just be happy with your idea? Hum... I ponders much.. I ponders much indeed o.o

man, I can't believe you missed the most important soul gem of all soul gems = black soul gems -.-

I'd get this one if it included a black soul gem in the lineup...

@Zathostum: Yeah, I see that. But my mod has almost 400 subscribers... Oh well.

I made this exact same mod about a day before this was uploaded... Oh well.

@nipnapcreations: No, this shouldn't conflict with any similar mods - my mod simply adds recipes for soul gems but does not alter the actual item (except for the soul gem fragments, which are still in the game but I replaced all five with 1 type to make things much easier on the player). But it's still possible.
