Perpetual Corridors

Description
Red lasers and laser fields throughout the corridors. After the first chamber, there's 3 chambers to get through.
A hint about the first chamber: Portal your way to the platform above the entrance, and when you look down the corridor, you'll see a button on the left wall. You will have to tractor beam the cube to it as a means of getting there.

@Yavie: You more than likely discovered an alternate solution that I missed when I built it. I just realized something. I built this almost 2 years ago. Time sure flies. Thanks for playing.

Liked this one a lot, adding to faves. I did not need that last button/deactivate fizzler. Not sure why I would have needed it?

Only complaint: I am programmed to bring cubes with me. It broke my heart to leave all thosed cubes behind.

I'll have to go check that out. Been a whole year since I published this one. So it's been a while since I've play-tested it. Yeah, watch me walk into it and say "alright, what the heck do I do here". LOL.

As for your endeavors of perplexed concentration as you and your Companion Cube stumble through many a portal, I wish you cake in the end.

Now if Steam is done being pissy about letting me publish anything, I'll get back to that and hope it works this time.

Hi Skyferret. I loved this map. In case you're interested, I'm not sure your 'intended' solution but I think there is a cheat way at the end, thus....
After you bring in the two cubes to the last room, you can portal the ceiling near the exit door and the wall at the laser, drop the cubes up to the exit area. Take the lift up to exit level and walk through the fizzler, then re-portal the laser to the ceiling (laser descends vertically from ceiling), place the cubes and you're out. Was that your plan? You don't need the other lift or the funnel this way.

cheers and thanks for all the hours you've helped me to 'spend wisely' playing Portal. When I finally shuffle off this mortal coil and my life flashes before my eyes, there will be at least several condensed moments worth of carrying companion cubes, flipping through portals and gnashing my teeth in concentrated perplexion, stumped by a puzzle. see you there. cheers.

LOL. Ah yes, that cube. I should make it a point to upload more accompanying videos to my maps so the player can compare methods. I'm assuming the brain could use some sleep after that.

I think I tried every bone-headed, illogical, overly complicated method at least 10 times at each stage before having to stop and re-evaluate what the hell I was doing. Sometimes you just have to do things the hard way :/
With that in mind, I assume you have an easily repeatable way of getting the 2nd glass cube out of its cage. I got it done, but it took a lot of trial and error as well as luck.

Didn't needed to deaktivitate the last fizzler, cause you can get the cubes with the orange tractor beam very easily.
