Pavlov's House, Stalingrad November 1942

Stalingrad, November 1942.

Fall Blau is in full effect. Oberkommando der Wehrmacht has ordered the capture of Stalingrad; however, the winds are raging, winter is coming, firefights are breaking out everywhere and there are ominous reports of Soviet armored formations puncturing through our lines to the North and South of Stalingrad. The current situation is looking pretty grim.

As you know, the Soviets have fortified a prominent apartment building in the center of Stalin's city, built perpendicular to the embankment of the river Volga and overseeing the "9th January Square." Military intelligence reports estimate between 30 and 50 soldiers of the 42nd Guards Regiment, 13th Guards Division have set up fortifications in and around the complex under the command of someone the Russians are calling Pavlov. Supply and communication trenches connect nearby outposts. Our offensive into the city is slowing down due to fire from this building and our infantry squads are pinned down. We have requested some urban assault panzers to help clear out this resistance, but before we can bring in the armor, we must clear out the Soviets' tank barriers. That's where you and your team of SturmpionIere come in, Oberleutnant. Let us clear out this citadel of Bolshevism together... for good.


- Demolish the Soviet tank barriers leading towards Pavlov's House
- Reinforce our infantry outpost at Zeb's House by neutralzing the enemy's MG nest
- Seize Pavlov's House


- Utilize mortar fire from the 2. Mörser Abteilung with your Funker's radio by inputting ` , 0
- Reinforcements are limited
- Beware of sniper and machinegun fire
- Utilize the Sturmpionier's demolition charges to take out the barricades; failure to use this class will make the mission impossible
- 2-10 players

hey is it possible to upload the mission file without the whole snow storm module? i would like to do a zeus mission for my unit on this map and use your mission as a template (if im allowed in the frst place)

Overall its a really good mission and idea, however there is some problems I thought i might mention, one would be the problem with the maxims in pavlovs house as well as the AI held up in it, they can't see you moving up very well and will very rarely fire because of this, this involves the maxims. But other than that its a really good mission nice one.

the tank on the east front doesn`t arrive, when i clear the pavlov house nothing happen, for the rest i`m happy the mission is now fixed

There's Probably some way to fix it, but having no experience with modding the only advice I can give is to ask around. I'm sure someone out there can help you.

Am i doing something wrong? can't get this mission to work. I get an error on loading and then there are no roles to select.

Did you load load the Snow Storm Module by Alias? I'm considering taking it out anyway to improve FPS. I'm going to look into it this evening.

I'm a bit irritated with editing on this map in general, because I consider the FPS count lower than optimal even with fewer assets on the map. I originally modded the map to take out most vegetation to improve FPS, but that caused other bugs. Let me know if it's still not working for you. Thanks for subscribing.
