Sleepy Head (Class 47)

Description
Drive the sleeper service from Carlisle to Preston. Tonight it's hauled by a Class 47. Around Penrith and Lancaster you will be following some late running freight trains for short durations, so stay on the ball! There are also some engineering works on Shap Summit so you are diverted via the goods loop. This service has an 80mph limit for passenger comfort reasons.

Very Enjoyable Drive, took me right back to 1985 coming south on a Saturday Night.

Loved the loop at Shap.

Of course BR at that time would have held the train for 90 minutes making it very late waiting for ETH rather than sending air-con mk3 sleepers forward with an NB duff :steamhappy:

Very nice scenario, I enjoyed driving it very much. No probems, lots of yellows after Lancaster. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Nice doing, much better than the usual A to B run under greens, plenty of accelerating and braking the whole way with loads of signal checks and some interesting diversions. Very Good.

Excellent scénario. Enormément de plaisir pour la "marche à vue", et un parcours vraiment réussi, de nuit, avec un environnement ferroviaire parfait.

Merci beaucoup.

Regarding the invisble gauges - there is an invisible cab light switch on that model, it's on the right hand side of the cab and to the left of the visible switches. It took me a while to find it too!
