Converted from the rFactor 1 track and updated to rFactor 2 standards by senormen.

All textures, materials, shaders, every poly has been reworked to bring the track model up to rFactor 2 standards and has been a WIP since at least build 930.

Have tried to make the track look as near to recent videos and pictures available with a few additions.

Changes from original model to bring it more up to date include but not restricted to:
the pitlane wall being extended,
-runoff areas added.
-full night lighting added around the track and to outside
the track too.
-track mesh resolutiom increased for real road and groove mapped to fast path.
-grass and terrain reworked with latest shader, grandstands and spectators added.
-track officials and cornerworkers added.
-team members added, pitlights and signs added, animated flags added.
-trees added set to billboard.
-flowers added around the track.

Credit to ISI / S397 for various assets and for rFactor 2.

A couple last things to mention. I asked a driver to cut (4 off) very corner and he did not receive a penalty. So I understasnd the movable tyre barriers are there to prevent cutting in a couple areas, but the whole track is cuttable (see also: the real Blancpain GT race). Secondly, those tyres barrier models, that eventually find their way on to the circuit, they will cause suspension damage when hit.

But the tyre barrier inevitably get hit and becomes a further obstacle. Our early theory is that the server poorly tracks the model (and its physics) and possibly causes a server crash -- happened on two completely different boxes. Also I can't remember which kerb it is, but one of them causes suspension damage.

I'm sure it has 36 spots, but I'm giving some real world experience to know: when we had 31 clients, 4 of them didn't have pit stalls, and one was backwards.

. . . i can think of things a lot more annoying than those tyres . . . . . . the tyres were placed there on the advice of league racers to prevent cutting . . . the track has 36 garage spots with 2 cars sharing a pitspot so in other words pitspot #27 doesn't even exist . . . i'm working on a dx11 update and will take a look at the aiw during the process . . .

Also, please remove the movable tyre barriers. They're very annoying in a league environment.

Pitboxes are broken. Place #27 is a backwards/weird angle spot. All clients over 27 don't have a pit stall at all. Just tested via my league at http://virtualonlineracers.net

Strange. To me its very smooth compared to other tracks. Not complaining. I got enough tracks. :)

. . . I've heard about a passtime that involves sitting on your hands till they go numb and you cant feel anything

. . . if you are looking for a physical mesh on top of the tarmac mesh you need to look in a different game

. . . anyway . . . the track is not exactly smooth . . . i get plenty feeling from the track surface so not exactly sure what you mean

Not getting any bumps/dips from the surface. Like its missing physical bump mesh on top of the tarmac mesh. Otherwise very nice, but personally i need the road feeling in the FFB otherwise it feels like driving on an indoor floor. :)
