DE: Hallo Spieler,

Die heutige Ankündigung dient dazu euch über die aktuellsten Dinge über das Spiel selbst auf dem Laufenden zu halten.

1. Wie bereits erwähnt wollen wir euch ein tolles Spielerlebnis bieten, deshalb wird sich das Releasedatum um 5-6 Monate verschieben - wir könnten das Ganze auch früher heraus bringen, aber dann würden wir uns wie dreckige Shovelware Devs fühlen die mit Game Guru in 5 min irgendwas zusammen geklickt haben, um den schnellen Reibach zu machen. Uns ist wichtig dass das Spiel weitestgehend Bug frei ist und ein solides Spielerlebnis bietet. 5-6 Monate sind in der Welt der Entwickler nicht viel, für Gamer kann sowas eine Ewigkeit bedeuten, das tut uns wirklich leid.

2. Einige kleine Änderungen wurden an der Story vorgenommen, so das diese weniger kompliziert und besser nachvollziehbar sein wird. Trotzdem ist sie im gesamten Umfangreicher als man denkt - ebenso wurden einige Ingame Features gestrichen und zusammengefasst, so ist die Geisterwelt heraus gefallen, wird aber (Achtung Spoiler) im zweiten Teil dann fester Bestandteil der Story sein die viel mit parallel Universen und Zeitzonen zu tun haben wird ;)

3. Wenn ihr jetzt denkt das wir nur große Töne spucken - so sei euch gesagt das wir das Trailer Video auf der Hauptseite durch ein aktuelles Spielevideo ersetzt haben - dieses zeigt zwar nicht alles, gibt aber eine genaue Vorstellung dessen was wir so geplant und ausgeführt haben.

Wie immer nehmen wir euer Feedback sehr ernst - müssen aber auch zugeben das man es als Entwickler nie allen Recht machen kann - sollten wir also auf einzelne Wünsche nicht eingehen können tut uns das Leid.

US: Hi Player

1. As we announced before, we wanna give the Player (you) a ral great Gaming experience and this is one of the main reasons why we will push the releasedate a little bit more forward as we origialy had planned. the new date will be in july 2018. Of course we can bring the game earlier but then we would feel like dirty shovelware devs who click something in gameguru together to make the big bucks. its important to us to bring you a bugfree and great user experience. We know 5 to 6 months are nothing for a developer but for gamers its like a whole life thats why we will ask for excusion from you.

2. We changed some Stuff in the Storyline now the story is less complicated but still huge. we also cutted out some features to make the gameplay more easy and enjoyable. so the ghostworld was also cutted out bcause it will be (spiler allert) a main part in the second part of the game)

3. if you know think that we only bragging here then you are not right and to prove this we replaced the old alpha trailer through an actuall gameplay beta trailer which shows much of the stuff we have planned and inserted.

We take your feedback realy serious so if you have ideas feel free to tell them to us, but excuse us if we cannot insert all ideas. we know you cannot make everyone happy as dev but we will try it.

Our main goal is to make a simpel and complex game.
The objective is to make the game easy to pick up and play while still offering a challenge and complexity.
Our graphicsstyle is unique and optimized to offer a surreal twist to the magic world of Foxfire.
We know that there are many games and developers out there just looking for some quick cash by buying Store Assests in the Unity Assest Store and just flipping them to make a mediocre at most gaming experience.
Our project is not like one of these, out project is a pure passion project. We try to make a game that makes us proud to present.

*Many different abilities that have to be learnt throughout the game e.g. Dasher, Crusher or even Foxfire.
*Inspired by the classics of this genre with different own twists to offer an easy learning curve for experienced players of the genre.

It's dark in Urbia, a futuristsic city reigned by the evil dictator Ironlord. The people are afraid of their dictator but still obey as Ironlord is the only one offering them the defence to fend of all the potential attackers.
One day Ironlord was told by one of his counsulters that a huge attack force is incoming even he can't defeat with his whole army and his only chance of victory is by creating a new weapon strong enough to end all wars and conquer all the other kingdoms, making him the ruler of the whole known world.
The dictator, who believes into occulcy and magic, calls in his scientists to create him the strongest weapon. The only problem with the weapon is the huge energy consumption it has.
It's so much that no known energy source is able to supply enough power to activate this weapon.
Ironlord in dire need for a solution looks through the old libraries finding a book about an old legend about the “nine tailed fox“. It is said that the nine tailed fox gets his power by absorbing the energy of sorrounding foxes, therfore creating an endless arcane energy source called „Foxfire“.

Flynn the fox and his family live in the aztec forest. One evening the earth starts shaking, trees are falling over and a loud metal roaring is sounding through the forest.
Flynn tries to hide in a tree stump but has to witness his family beeing captured by huge metal machines, Ironlords Harvesters.
After a long time silence crawls back into the forest, the air itself is burning and Flynn understood what happend. He tearfully pleaded to the heaven itself for help until suddenly a ghost appeared right behing him willing to help him.
Flynn and his ghost friend have to learn a lot to find the troublesome path to Urbia to save his family and all the other missing foxes from the aztec forest.

i started with c# btw so unity should be the logical consequence for me but for 2d is unity to overpowered i think its nice for 2.5D but for classic style games gamemaker is simply better hwoever there is a new free engine called superpowers which looks nice to me but ill stick with gml i think like the language

yeah thats what i mean the built in functions allow esily creating shaders performance is alot better then on construct2 when i ve began with game design i was on the choice gm or construct2 or something else, ive tried both and gamemaker simply wins for me because GML is super customizable and the interface of the ide is easier for me

i thought in gms you had to create your own shaders so how can it have more, doesn't it technically have 0 shaders
