It's a nice looking map. But it's too small.
I know it's a mineshaft, it's surpose to be small. And the idea looks good on papir. But it's just too small

thanks a lot for the feed back i will take notice and try to fix as many problems as i can.
although the small corridors are narrow because its an underground facility i cant make them big because it would look strange. there are 4 different routes so the player can go to the mid and each one put him in different shoes. as far the lighting is concerned yes i am aware of the problem i tried to fix it before but without succeded i will try what you said putting nodraw instead a giant sky box around the map and dont worry i wont put only nodraw.
but what else can i do to make it fit the jungle theme better?
i would appreciate if you reply as soon is possible thanks again your are the best.

I think that the most important things to look into are:
-properly sealing up the map with nodraw, to fix lighting leaks and improve optimization
-make the environment fit the the jungle theme, or don’t label it as jungle
-rotate textures on brushes that need it for a more realistic look
-opening up routes to not make it as explosive friendly (gameplay is more important than a theme. When people die it should be because they made a bad choice, not because the map favors a certain class.)
-make the lighting more believable

The corridors leading to the mid area are still small, and yes this fits the theme of a mine shaft, it makes the map extremely good for explosive classes. With small corridors, there is limited space to dodge rockets and pipes, which does not match the way the game is played today. A lot of the displacements aren’t sewn together, which results in edges of displacements poking out and catching the player. A lot of displacements are stretched, which results in the texture being stretched and looks out of place. You have wooden beams that should their textures rotated, yet you leave them at 0 degrees. There are also plenty of lights placed around the map that do not have a source (some kind of light fixture) and it stands out. I believe that there can be more to this map, but at the stage it is in I would say it is not finished. (2/3)

It seems there are still quite a few issues with koth_underground, even in this reskin. The map still has light leaking through cracks of displacements. This is because of the way displacements work. They do not seal up leaks into the void. You need to seal the map up with solid brushes (usually nodraw) to stop these leaks. This is also the reason why your map is poorly optimized. If I recall, you stated you added optimization brushes to underground in one of the change logs. The problem is that displacements do not block visibility, and with your map being consumed in a giant box with the skybox texture, there is barely any optimization happening. The foliage you have in this jungle reskin of underground doesn’t make any sense. You have left the small desert bushes, and have added pine trees to the map. Pine trees are not located in tropical locations. It seems odd that you would tag this as a jungle map, yet the assets you have use suggest that has an alpine theme. (1/3)
