7 change notes ( view )
- Screen effect was modified to be easier on the eyes with a subtle radial blur that only shows up near the edges of the screen.

- Khajit, vampire and werewolf have each been given their own colorized versions. White for khajit, blue for vampire, red for werewolf.

- The sound effect for toggling Night Eye on or off has been disabled.

- It's tuned for low light, so you won't want to use it during the day.

- Night Eye is now a permanent effect you can toggle. While this also applies to werewolves, it's outside the scope of this mod to give werewolves the ability to toggle it and is not included in order to preserve maximum compatibility.

- A 4th optional green night eye is now included by request. It does not modify any existing abilities and the only way to get it is to add it manually using the console. Open the console and type: "Player.AddSpell 0a0068f8"

- Adjusted Night Eye transitions and scripted timing delays to reduce the chance of a flicker during the fade.
- Reverted some changes that were made to the vampire night eye in the previous revision accidentally.

- Fixed a bug that allowed NPC werewolves to activate Werewolf Night Eye effects on the player's screen.
- Gave each Night Eye effect a proper name for the active effects list.
- A new optional Nature Night Eye has been added that is colored green. The only way to get it is to open the console and type "Player.AddSpell 0a0068f8". If that ID doesn't work for you, type "help nature" and use the ID listed for (SPEL) Nature Night Eye.

I'm going to give this a whirl. I'm using a mod that makes nighttime and caves much darker AND a mod that doubles the radius of torches. I'll let you know what happens.

The screenshots were all taken at night and the mod was tweaked primarily for low light usage, so if you're using it during the day out in the sun it would appear pretty blown out like in your screenshot. Think of it like trying to use night vision goggles during the day, it's much more sensitive to the light available and it would be kind of blinding.

Hi. I really like how the white night eye looks in the screenshot, but when I use it in game, the brightness is so high that I can hardly see anything. I previously used a mod called "Night Eye Overhaul", and I thought maybe the problem was caused by me switching to this one without doing a clean save, but I tried a clean save and it still has this problem. I made sure there are no other night-eye mods in my load order. My character is a Khajiit, and not a vampire or werewolf. Do you have any advice as to why this problem might be occuring? Thanks. screenshot: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=198958925

have dawnguard, encountering issue when consuming a corpse makes a werewolf perk available: This is accompanied by a short visual effect (peripheral screen blur) which overrides the nighteye. Also running wolf senses - a werewolf mod, and suspect issue is due to dawnguard overriding the auto nighteye. Thought you should be made aware anyway.

mindfire, unfortunately I'm unlikely to make any alternate versions or updates to this mod. It is interesting that you prefer to keep the sound though. Sorry if it bothers you too much.

Can you put up a version that keeps the sound effect?
