This game was made as an experiment in creating a software rasterizer. This means the image is rendered entirely in your CPU. So, I created the 3D engine from scratch.

The game will offer you no unique gameplay; instead, it will give you original, genuine software rasterizer artifacts. Texture warping, texture size limit and lighting - all of this was designed to use as little resources as possible with software rendering.

In essence, this game is a 3D shooter, reminiscent of the classic shooters of the 90's. No regenerating health, no cover systems or tactical rolls, bodies of fallen foes remain where they died. The game will be DRM-free: after the purchase you can just transfer the game folder where you want it to be.

Lovely trees!
Don't you think there should be some kind of unique gameplay, or just a further exploration of the old rather than just a re-tread, because you present your game as if it had nothing new to contribute.

If you try to complain about the "new" at least try to further the "old", and besides if you are going to pitch your game the way you did then you sound a lot like the very modern shooter big-boys club you seem to be against.
Texturing and effects are all very well but if you prioritise those over a satisfying experience you might as well line up as a developer on the next Call of Duty.
