The Autumn of Whiterun

Hello everyone! This is the first mod I have ever made for Skyrim. I know that mods have been made to change Whiterun and add trees, but this mod goes beyond your common sapling and birch tree.

My intent for the mod was to give Whiterun a seasoned look; in this case it is autumn! I have added many other things besides a dense forest to Whiterun. I used common objects such as carts, barrels, and street lanterns to raise the spirit of the town from a dreary old wasteland to a cheerful village!

I greatly appreciate all the feedback I can get on this. Once again , it is my first mod and I want to make it the best it can be! Please leave a comment or message me if you find any mistakes or things that you think need some fixing!

Feel free to edit this mod as you like, but I made it from scratch so please give me some credit!

I would also preview a showcase here if anyone would be kind enough to record one for me! Thanks!

Check it out on the Skyrim Nexus!

20000+ Subscribers! Thanks everyone! I hope you enjoy it!

- There is a forest outside of Whiterun leading into the city.
- The new forest slowly recedes into the wastelands that are the plains of the Whiterun Hold.

V 1.1
- Trees inside the city are visible from outside the walls
(This update is mostly for testing purposes, nothing big.)

V 1.0
- Whiterun is completely filled with an autumn themed forest.
- Lanterns fill the streets,
- Small and unique additions to add theme to the city.
- And more!

Open Cities (working on a fix)

-------------------------------------TO-DO LIST-------------------------------------
Not Done:
1.2 Blend the foliage
1.2 Turn the out-of-city farms into a slowly receding forest.
1.1 Make the trees inside the gate visible from the outside.

@Baro- you ever think to do maybe Morthal? It's kind of the Bravil of Skyrim- perhaps autumn wouldn't fit, but just a lot of trees like in Whiterun, like a mix of the everygreen in the area and a few dead swamp trees- or something?

Didn't know Whiterun's outskirts could be so beautiful! Great job.

i am definitely no rival of this mod and it worked fine till i used fast travel to Whiterun, then i got the black loading screen with all the sounds still playing, everything came back to normal after i unscribed, just saying, but it did look good, others may not have the same issue i got.

I am not a "rival" of this mod and I would still not recommend it. If you have yet to try it out be warned: sideaffects are (but are not limited to) increased urge to create low quality memes, increased growth rate of a neck beard, the inability to live a life outside of your parents basement, and EbolAids

Pretty darn great mod. Most of the bad comments are from rivals of this mod. Try it out yourself and you'll love it!

Gorgeous add on. Adds just the right amount of atmosphere into Whiterun. Wonderfully done.

Thank you Baro for inspiring me to finish the mod and allowing all men and women to enjoy with their loved ones the true wonderfulness of hot pink leaves and maybe even grass in skyrim, and godspeed my child, godspeed
