I have been using your mod since the start through Nexus mods. I just have to complain that there is indeed a lot of rain. This dulls the overall saturation of game. Can you decerease the rain by one-fourth or so.

To those that are complaining about nights being too dark, you have to set it up on install. Also, it is best to use Mod Organizer to install this mod... all mods in fact. GOPHER makes a very good guide series on installing MO and covers the installation of Climates of Tamriel in detail. Check him out of YouTube.

IMO, I find that CoT is a very good mod but with a major flaw: Way, way, way too much rain. You install that mod and you can kiss goodbye to most of your bright sunny beautiful days of Skyrim. It's unrealistic and borderline depressing. The rest of the mod is awesome! I just wish there was a patch to tone down the rain / snow / storms to make it more in tune with how mother nature works! LOL I mean, if you consider that Winterhold barely sees one days of clear, sunny skies per, let's say a month, the entire city should be buried under snow and you wouldn't be able to see it!!!

TLDR: Too dark? Get Mod Organizer and check out Gopher YouTube install guide.

Hello!

Are there manual install instructions for v5.0? The readme on nexusmods references v4.05 and extracting the contents of the zip to data/skyrim does not give me the mod available to activate..or am I missing something obvious?

And I can't unsub or Skyrim crashes.

It's cool but I prefer if the dark night were better; Actually able to see, wasn't just a black tint over what the player sees.
