Description
Blackshift is an intricate action puzzle game which isn't afraid of complexity — think Chip's Challenge on crack.
Stealing ideas abundantly from the golden age of PC puzzle games, Blackshift has over 50 object types which combine in countless ways to create mysterious and exciting puzzles.

Includes a level editor and a “mario maker” mode – create your own levels & play those made by other users, all from within the game. Watch other people playing your levels and see who was fastest.

In developing Blackshift the focus has been on making a rock-solid engine that just feels good. This is what games like Pacman got so right — every detail down to the frame-by-frame timing of how your character moves and turns corners was tuned to perfection, giving that simple game endless replay value. Blackshift is designed along those same lines.

The original is still one of my favorite puzzle games of all time. Really wish this goes through, good luck.

I do indeed love space mazes. I've been a fan of Blackshift since the original game came out some centuries ago. And I played Netshift rather adamantly during it's short lifespan. I'm very happy to see it's greatest incarnation yet come to fruition.

I've loved this game since the beta of a previous version called Netshift - and feel kinda bad for not having spared enough time there lately. Best part is there's so many combinations and you can make stuff interact in new ways, challenging the players :D

I'm sad that this game hasn't drummed up more interest, although it's hard to get people into puzzle games with 16-bit era graphics. In all seriousness, despite some of my snarky comments to opportunistic developers, I rather like the look and feel of this. It's quite seamless and free flowing whilst requiring a degree of thought.

The game looks and fells VERY good, It reminds me of Chip's Challenge. And Sokoban, sokobond and similar games. I seen a collegue playing the beta and tried to insta-buy it but only ended up here. Wish you success.
