Pocket Magecraft - Arcane Enchanter & Alchemy Lab in your pocket

An Arcane Enchanting Table & Alchemy Lab that you can summon anywhere. It also summons 4 storage containers that are player owned and non respawning. The containers are stored in-game deep underground and are brought to you when you equip the [Pocket Mage] from your Armor inventory. The [ ] brackets around it make it appear at the top of the inventory list so you don't have to go looking for it.

After subscribing, the next time you launch your game you will be given the choices of "Get It Now", "Purchase It From a Vendor" or "Craft It At the Forge". Once you have the [Pocket Mage] token, it will be in your Armor inventory near or at the top. Just equip it and the items will be summoned. To put it back into inventory, just unequip it.

After aquiring the [Pocket Mage], the first time you use it, the [Open Pocket Mage Storage] token will be added to your inventory automatically. This will allow you to remotely open any of the 4 storage containers without summoning them.

The containers are named as "Misc Storage", "Soul Gem Storage", and so on, but you can store anything in any of them. I just labeled them for convience. I also threw some swag in them just for fun.

NOTE: When accessing the storage remotely, some items may be shown as stolen when in reality they are not. Update v1.15 fixes this on the first summoning after the update.

v1.21 -- A couple of more minor fixes.
v1.20 -- Made code changes to combat a problem a few people are having with the storage chests.
v1.18 -- Remove debug code that was accidently left in place.

Don't forget, If you try it, rate it accordingly!

If you decide to unsubscribe, be sure you take everything out of the containers first so you don't loose them. If you forget to do so, and if you want your stuff back, you'll need to re-subscribe and load a save from a time before you unsubscribed.

Anyone who wishes to upload to another site, modify the scripts, or basically make any changes may do so as long as proper credit is given. I just do this for fun and to keep my mind working while I'm unemployed, so I'm not going to be too anal about other people using and/or expanding on my original code.

When I open the arcane storage though [Pocket Mage Storage Open] item and choose open Potion Storage, however it will open the Soul Sem Storage chest. Is it a bug?

Personally, I use Notepadd++. There are instructions on the CK website on how to set it up to use it for CK script files. Once it's set up, you can assign a hot-key combination that will compile the script and output it to the correct place. I haven't done the update yet, I've had some personal things come up that have prevented me from modding. I hope to be back to it next week.

If you go to this web page and look along the right side column, you'll see links for instructions on setting up various editors to edit and compile the scripts:

Splynter, I really appreciate the update. This is probably the mod with the content that I most often make use of. I love this thing! What did you use to recompile the .pex file? I have not done any script modding, or really any publicly uploaded mods, but I would love to work with a better program than the ones that I have.

Yikes! Thanks for the heads up!

I'm going to upload a fixed version of this mod, but I would recommend that you retrieve all of your items prior to updating. This mod hasn't been updated in over a year and the .esp file doesn't appear to be the latest. There is a newer version called "Pocket Craftshop II" that can be found in my workshop files. It gives you access to all of the crafting items and has more storage available.
I'll wait a day or so before uploading the changes to this file, to give you a chance to retrieve your loot in the chests.
