A one-third size smelter that you carry in your inventory. It is fully functional and is deployed by equipping it from your armor inventory.

After subscribing, the next time you launch your game the "[Pocket Smelter]" will be added to your armor inventory. Simply equip it, and voila, a fun sized smelter! To put it back into inventory, just unequip it.

6.26.12 -- Fixed the smelter's final orientation so that it's straight regardless of where the player is looking. Steep terrain will still cause it not to be seated fully, but it won't be tilted.

I find this quite handy. But it does have a bit of a despawn problem.

Seems to fail despawn.

Love it. I have another mod that allows me to melt down weapons and armor and it goes really well with your mod. Make raiding bandit camps that much more worth it when i walk out with a few dozen iron bars :P Not tot mention the fact that mining is that much more enjoyable. No running out of the mines with armfulls of ore and hoping to track down a smelter before you get that oh so dreaded "you are carrying too much to run" message. rated, Subbed (obviously) and faved.
