Description
Release date: Early 2017
Ra² is a physics-based skill game, featuring unique game controls and the sequel of my game Radium which is already on Steam and got great reviews.

It is inspired by the smallest elementary particles of our universe and a physics-based skill game with puzzle elements.
The core of the game is to navigate a ball through the levels controlled and influenced by two tractor beams.
Just as in quantum mechanics, the game is limited to a few basic laws and objects that have been combined to a meticulously designed level-design.
The polarization change is simple but challenging. Through contact with a specific object, the gravitation is inverted, the tractor beams push the ball away and the interface turns yellow.

Why a new one?
I developed Radium in 2013 for Android. Later I made a Windows edition and realized that the best way to play it is with a gamepad on PC. I decided to create a new one, because I really like the control mechanics and think Radium could be a lot better.
I develop Ra2 with a focus for PC and gamepad controls.
Radium has a lot poorly designed levels and even the menu is very mobile like and unoriginal.
New features of Ra² are better designed levels, steam leaderboard, 60 fps, rotating levels, portals and more.

(Info: Don't worry, the final version will have a soundtrack)

Features:
  • 130 levels of increasing difficulty
  • Gamepad support
  • Local multiplayer for 2-4 players
  • Speedrun mode with leaderboard
  • Unique physics based control mechanics
  • Zooming, scrolling, rotating and switching level sections
  • 60 fps
  • Polarization change
  • Pure minimalism
  • Steam Leaderboard

    User reviews about Radium:
"Actually one of the games which are the most fun to play, trust me, you´ll miss something if you don´t give this a try!"

"This is one of my favorite games on Steam. It's got a simple formula, and has no music, which could be distracting from the very simple elements of the game"

"I thought it would be easy game to get some simple achievements. F**k this s**t"

I like the original Radium BECAUSE it has achievements that are 100% achievable for normal people, with some reasonable effort. Please don't overdo it with very hardcore achievements like a no-death mode or something like that. I won't be interested then.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be a no-death mode, but there should not be an achievement for it, or for anything that is possible only for some hardcore people who play the game for weeks, or for 3rd party achievement tool users.

Looking forward to leaderboards and speedrun mode!

Played Radium for like 9 hours, but then my motivation was gone; no leaderboards, no more achievevements, so yeah, looking forward to another one with above features and improvements! :)

This game looks super cool, but you may want to add in some music. I think that a level creator, as well as a in-game hub to share levels and download other players levels

@Burt McSnuggert This is a great idea. I'll test this out. If it works good I'll add a 2-4 player race mode
