Description
There is a second Archmage Robes in the game files, without a hood. The NPCs notice it when you're wearing it, though they don't notice the hooded version. This mod allows you to swap versions at every tanning rack, so that you can see your character's head, or wear a dragonpriest mask without those ugly texture collisions, or simply hear NPCs commenting on your nice robes.

VERSION HISTORY:
21/06/2012: 1.0. Replaces archmage's robes with the hoodless version
25/06/2012: 1.1. Allows you to switch between the two versions at tanning racks.

NOTES :
- This mod will not break any archmage robes-related mod.
- If you uninstall the mod, you will keep the hoodless archmage robes, since it exists in the game files, but you won't get the hooded version unless you use the console.

Excellent! I never really wear the Archmage robes because the hood hides the characters hair... which often makes them look weird, especially if they have fringes and the like. Brilliant! Thank you!

Thank you very much for the info :)

@AllieCat: the fix is simple: i changed the reward of The eye of Magnus: instead of rewarding with the hooded version, it now grants the hoodless version. I also changed the enchantment of the hoodless version so it's the same as the hooded. In Vanilla, the hoodless version doesn't give +50 magicka, since you are supposed to get them from a hood. But since everyone uses a circlet or a dragonpriest mask from the same questline anyway, having a weaker enchantment was pointless.

smart :) but there are much more than many alot of other mods that do this though...
