I enjoyed it, despite the fizzler slalom driving me up the wall. :)

Alright I have updated the map with the auto save spot before the puzzle with the 4 lasers. And a few other minor visual bits.

@KFredje: Ah yes I see what you mean. That does sound like a good idea. I'll probably set triggers on both sides of the cube dropper to match the cube checkpoint too.

maybe a solution can be, when you solved a part, let a new dropper start dropping a cube and add checkpoints with the droppers?

I was planning on that before going with the checkpoint system, but the problem with that is that you can then fire a portal past a number of puzzles with the cube and bypass them too easily.

Since this map is created/edited with hammer (I assume since the custom overlays on the walls) you can put checkpoints/saves in the map.

Thanks for the comments!
@KFredje: Restarting when dying is the case for all maps, but Portal2 does have a built-in save system where you revert to when dying. That said I did try to reduce the chances of dying. The biggest risk as you mentioned is losing the ball and being left alone in that puzzle, it would be tricky to resolve that. I'd recommend falling back on the save system again. It's team work, you and your companion cube!

I like this map but there are 2 things I want to point to:

1) If you die you have to start all over which is pretty annoying, add some checkpoints (save points) in your map.

2) This is maybe more inportant, but I got stuck once. The place is on the first picture you have uploaded with your map. It's the bottom right piece on the picture. I lost my cube and there was no way to get it back without killing myself and having to start all over.

Besides this, very good map :)
