New Haven Springfield Line Scenarios

Description
The Connecticut Yankee was the evening northbound express service between New York City's Grand Central Terminal and Springfield Union Station. It was also the counterpart and return run of 'The Bankers', the morning express to New York City.

The Connecticut Yankee left New York at five p.m. and arrived at Springfield Union Station just over three hours later.

This scenario, the first of two parts, puts you in charge of that train from New Haven to Hartford at some point in the 1960s. You will be driving a pair of NH's iconic EMD FL-9 engines, pulling an assortment of light and heavyweight coaching stock.

This scenario requires the EMD FL-9 DLC and the New Haven Springfield Line DLC.

Recommendation: if you are looking for more challenging gameplay and modified sounds on the FL-9, please have a look at this sound & physics mod for the FL-9:

(requires the FL-9, P32 AC-DM and Pacific Surfliner DLCs)

The sound is intermitent (mostly engine sounds) from Berlin into Hartford with the sound mod installed. Same as LeadCatcher. Very good scenerio other then that, hope it can be fixed...

@LeadCatcher: I'm afraid I have no idea what is causing the sound issues on the FL-9, but I'm getting them too occasionally. I haven't tried a run with the sound mod installed yet, but other users have reported that it improved the situation for them.

Nice run -- but sounds on the FL9-sutout halfway to Hartford -- engine noise gone - but rail noise and other locomotives sound was ok -- wondering if the Mod mentioned above would make any difference
