Description
New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a 1.0 mile oval.
Primarily aimed at Stockcar Racing Leagues.
It is a scratch built track that was never released for Stock Car Evolution. (rFactor 1)
The AI works well here in the Stockcars. 100% will give you close to elite level speed competitors.
This track is also great in the Dallara. I turned some laps and have a base setup there also. The AI are not really raceable in the Dallara. They seem to run the one speed all the way around and I don't currently have time to support mods I am not directly aiming at.

The ideal racing line is a lane or 2 up from the bottom. Just like the real boys, the slighly more banking up a groove gives you more speed along the comparively long straights. (banking varies from 0deg on the apron to 7deg at the wall)

This is a fill in track until a new 3PA track becomes available

Thank to American Stockcar for quite a few high quality objects.

v1.80 update
Staggered pitboxes up and down pit lane. Designed to give drivers more space like in real life.
Slight adjustment to grip levels. Very minor reduction in grip to 4th and 5th lane in corners.

v1.75 update
Grip changed to 1.0

v1.60 update
Pacecar release endpoint moved back to correct place.
New Pacecar Line (Centre of track)
Grip adjusted so high line is not dominant

v1.50 update
Disable cut track (as per Mountain Pk Speedway)
As fields were approaching 30, online racers were starting to get cut track penalties in error.
Pacecar release endpoint moved as close to finish line as possible. To avoid lap up/lap down penalties common in online races when yellows come out while drivers are in pit lane.
Slowwhenpushed set to "0" AI Cars will now not slow when you get close behind them. (as if they are scared of you!)
Fixed some realroad textures missing alpha reflections layer
Concrete walls use correct material. (Will have correct drag when hitting it)
Safer walls use correct safer material. (Will have correct drag when hitting it)
Loading screen updated
Redo thumbs that were not working
Cones added to remind drivers to stay in or out of pit lane when entering

1.20 update
Updated textures to DX11
Removed some grip from the high and middle lines to fix too fast on high line issue caused by wrong tyre model under load.
Added 3d start man, and some 3d workers.
Yellow lights fixed and now work
Reflections on track should now be right: thanks to Leo!
Probably some other little things

v1.00 is first release.

Would you be willing to add the road layouts for a fee? Home track for me, so would be worth the investment.

add road layouts please!

No. It would be easy to do as the road course is there. But I race Stockcar 2018, so have no time or desire to do this.

Does this track come with any of the road course layouts?

Yeah, that's weird. I was doing some AI work on SC_2018, and had the same issue when I did an update as apart from a full mod. There is something weird that causes that.

Hi, thx for this track. - classic stockcar mod cars (2016 and 2020) tend to lean extreamly to the outside in turns here..maybe they have got wrong setup. Stockcar 2018 looks fine instead.

Does this include the roval/road course?

From memory, 28 sec laps are possible. Running mid 29's should make you competitive with AI at 100%. If your running 30+ second laps, you just need more practice. and probably a good setup.
PhantomBanana Jun 26, 2019 @ 11:35am
why is even 70% so difficult to compete with AI?
Machine  [author] Dec 9, 2018 @ 1:42pm
All my tracks are DX11, except the lights glows which are DX9.
