Thanks to everyone for helping Icycle get the greenlight! Your comments have been lovely to read, super kind folk :)
The game is finished. We just have to integrate Steamworks and set a launch date.
Wahoo!! Rx

I played the original Flash version and had a great time with it. I also played the mobile version of Icycle: On Thin Ice on my iPhone and enjoyed it tremendously.

In my humble opinion: I prefer the tactile input of the desktop over the touch input, so I'm super exited that this version is coming to steam.

I'm looking forward to replay the game soon, this time on the big screen.

I've always held DampGnat in the highest regard. I remember playing the short online version way back before any mini-golf games. As a developer myself, I was utterly impressed by the beautiful aesthetic, level design, and GREAT sound. It's almost like playing in an early Pixar animation. Because Icycle makes itself out to be much more "movie like" than most AAA titles. DampGnat discovered a format to deliver great animation and great gameplay. I will definitely buy it.

I want to vote yes to something like this, has a VERY unique Happy Wheels vibe to it. Just the naked guy detracts from it and I can't honestly say I want to vote yes to this. I really don't see the relevancy of the naked guy. Outside of that the artstyle reminds me heavily of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Everything about this game makes me smile; the art, the music, the sound, the levels, the gameplay

It's an absolute joy and as soon as it is out for the Mac I will be BUYING IT.

Good luck getting the Greenlight.

I loved the original flash game, and for a while had all of the high scores for it on Kongregate. I never expected to see this but it looks really good, with just the same attention to detail and level design. Definitely excited for this!
