Italian for 'backtrack', Tornate is a small mappack that consists of 4 maps. Each map at one point was an editor map, then the maps were totally redone in Hammer. Tornate also gives the Portal 2 artstyle a twist, adding blue tiles in contrast along with lighter metal tiles.

These maps are more on the easy side, but who knows, I can't really tell you the difficulty. I don't know how you think with Portals.

This map was a cut map from the original Tornate mappack. It was cut early on due to performance issues. It has now been better optimized and heavily reworked.

Despite having a simple yet elegant artstyle which I enjoyed, the tests themselves are horribly easy and boring. Should you make some harder tests with full usage of the game's mechanics, you could become a very unique map maker.

Nice artistic touch to these maps. Didn't find any glitches. Easy maps are OK as long as it's stated in the description (like it is for this pack). My only thought there is that it seems a little odd to put so much work into making very nice looking maps only to have them (mostly the first two) so incredibly easy to solve.

@ Fourth Reaper, Thanks. The goal of this mappack was to be simple. I don't wish to take any risks or else I'll end up with a problem like I did with Blue Portals. Some people could not finish it.

That is pretty much why I decided to change up the art a bit, so even players who ran threw it much like yourself, could at least enjoy the new atmosphere. :)

These maps were pretty straightforward, but at least I had something pretty to look at while testing. Nice artstyle. I just hope you will make harder test chambers in the future, that's all. Especially the second one didn't "fly" with me. (See what I did there?)

Oh, about the artstyle though, I was really psyched about the fact you proved you could reskin doors, but then I found out they were models. D: You wouldn't happen to know if reskinning the model would take via a workaround, (like with cubes,) would you?

Anyway, I'm glad you're still making maps. ;)

Enjoyable 3 maps, not overly complex but satisfying to solve! Great work.
