Racial AI Restorer

Restores the racial AI portraits to those that were used in the beforetime.

I was personally pretty disappinted with every race getting a recolour of the human version of SAIL after version 1.0.
So... I did this... I guess.

For the most part it's just a very simple sprite swap.
The only actual work that went into it was making new sprites for the quest dialog and the SAIL console on the ship.

No actual objects are edited, just sprites. So it should be future proof. Hooray!

This also means that the mod will work fine in multiplayer with "Allow Assets Mismatch" turned on in options.

Oh, as an added bonus, it fixes the minor graphical issue on the Apex SAIL console.

Yep, that's it. Enjoy if you want to.

Due to repeated requests, there's an alternate version of the mod that also changes the racial teleport colours to match the old AI colours here:

Client side.

Is this client or server side?

But of course this mod fixes that problem without the creators help, thanks!

Yeah, why would they do that!? They took away character, and diversity from the game! PUT IT BACK!

So, i dont know if this was asked yet, but is there a version that gives the other races access to each other's SAIL sprites? because I would really love all of my characters to just have the Glitch's wizard sail, but not have to be Glitch them self

Why in the world did they take this out of the game?! Why in the world did they force you to make this mod?!

Nope. It's an alternate version of the same mod.
It won't break anything if you install both though.

Yo! If I get the version which changes the teleporter colours, do I need this version of the mod as well?
Xaliber Aug 13 @ 11:54pm
Not possible. That might be another mod's doing. This mod literally only changes the visual and nothing else.

Note: Deleting didn't do any game-breaking bugs to me (as far as I know), but did make the intro text different. Now the "reboot your system" text awkwardly requires player interaction to get through, and the explanation that earth has been destroyed is completely skipped, except for the quest window, obviously. Just thought I'd warn anyone if that's a intergal part of your character's story!
